Position Overview

As the Technical Product Owner, you will be a key player in shaping and optimizing our digital products, with a primary focus on e-commerce capabilities and seamless integration with Salesforce. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, leveraging your expertise to enhance customer journeys and contribute to the overall success of Dogtopia's digital initiatives. You will be the subject-matter expert who uses their technical knowledge to bridge the gap between product and technical aspects of product development. You will collaborate closely with designers, developers, and other stakeholders to make their ideas a reality. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Head of IT/Engineering and does not have any direct reports.


  • Develop and drive the digital product strategy in alignment with business objectives, with a specific focus on e-commerce functionality and omni-channel experience.
  • Leverage your e-commerce experience to enhance online shopping experiences, optimize conversion funnels, and drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI team to create visually appealing and user-friendly digital interfaces.
  • Utilize your Salesforce expertise to integrate e-commerce solutions seamlessly, ensuring data consistency and a unified customer experience across platforms.
  • Work closely with Salesforce development teams to implement and optimize integrations.
  • Serve as the technical product owner in an agile development environment, working closely with development teams to define user stories, prioritize backlog items, and deliver high-quality features.
  • Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, sales, operations, and customer service teams to gather requirements and ensure that digital products align with broader business strategies.


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Product Owner, with a strong focus on e-commerce and Salesforce integration.
  • In-depth understanding of e-commerce platforms, user experience design, and digital product development.
  • Experience with Salesforce, including customization, configuration, and integration capabilities.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
