Overview:

POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:

The Sr. Salesforce Developer will a work hybrid schedule, and must be available to work onsite at our state of art Innovation and Manufacturing facility in Winston-Salem, NC at least 2-3 days per week and more if needed and will able to work some from home also. Will be collaborating proactively with Applications analysts to translate business and integration requirements into configurable component designs and solutions on the force.com platform, especially on the service cloud. This is a great opportunity for a salesforce.com (SFDC) developer to learn and deliver with a highly skilled team to enable overall sales & enhance Service support levels of the company. A salesforce platform developer collaborates directly with the stakeholders to design highly usable, scalable, extensible, and maintainable solutions. The ideal candidate will reflect a mix of strong technical proficiency, application maintenance ownership, and the ability to work effectively with other business and technology personnel and internal customers to provide responsive support to these global applications.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

Proficient in Software development lifecycles namely Waterfall, Agile, Scrum and AIM Methodology.
Designing, developing, implementing, customizing, and integrating Oracle e-Business Suite and Salesforce applications with other systems, and providing ongoing support and future enhancements of those solutions.
To work with team members as needed to scope, design, develop, test, implement, support and responsible for coding and unit testing application software across production support, enhancements and projects.
Meet service level agreements for production support response and resolution.Solve issues, find root causes, and corrective actions to resolve the issues permanently.
Develop, implement, and run Salesforce integration strategies and critical initiatives.
Seek out ways to use Salesforce to improve processes, productivity and build scalable solutions.
Apply Service cloud features to enhance the Support model. (Use tools like Chat/SMS/Chatter/Einstein Bots/Analytics/FSL/Social Studio etc)
Create and lead custom objects, fields, formulas, reports, and dashboards.
Design and optimize user interfaces using Visual force, Aura and LWC
Develop and maintain validation rules and custom workflow rules.
Develop lightning components and integrate the components in the application.
Design and develop high quality software on force.com platform.
Performance Improvement -Tuning, Application health checks and improvement proposals and implementations.
Follow documentation, software development methodology, version control and testing, and migration standards.
Understand the key integration points, work cross-functionally across different business processes, and understand challenges faced by business teams and address those

Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast paced devlopement environment.
Experience working both independently and, in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Qualifications:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Skills:

Skilled in designing and building product features on the SFDC platform and enhancing features on Service Cloud platform.
Demonstrated understanding of with Salesforce.com architecture and API
Solid understanding of lightning component development, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS and relational databases, data modeling including Salesforce.com SOQL, SOSL query language
Skilled in using the Force.com data loader and in data migration assignments. Proficiency in Java, SOAP, REST services for Salesforce platform.
Soild understanding of MVC concepts, object-oriented methodologies, and approaches
Familiarity with development tools such as Eclipse & GIT
Familiarity with in creating RESTful web services in salesforce platform, creating APIs or calling APIs & and with admin features of salesforce for data security & controls.

Solid understanding of designing and building applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components.

Hands-on software troubleshooting experience and in conducting research on software-related issues and products.
Experience with global implementations of Oracle EBS Applications and Salesforce, building highly available, scalable, and secure systems. Ability to identify system impacts for small- and large-scale initiatives.
Ability to coordinate migrations/implementation of changes between the different Application environments (i.e., Development, Test, and Production).Experience with CI / CD concepts and platforms/tools
Expertise in the Interfaces, conversion and data migration between different Oracle ERP modules, Oracle Cloud, Salesforce and 3rd party applications, and in working in a DevOps Framework.
Expertise in designing and developing applications using OOP concepts and design patterns.
Ability to work in a fast-paced agile development environment.
Expertise with organizational change tools and processes, including source code control, versioning, VSS, GIT, branching, defect tracking and release management.

Ability to interact optimally at all levels with sensitivity to cultural diversity

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience:

5+ years of experience in designing and building enterprise/large-scale applications.
5+ years experience in Force.com, Lightning components development (Aura/LWC), and Apex programming language.
5+ years of professional IT/Engineering experience required with demonstrated development and design experience (Java, JavaScript, AJAX experience preferred)
Exposure to Salesforce Community Clouds.

Education:

Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
