Job Description

We are currently hiring a Senior Salesforce Developer in Boston, MA (Hybrid).

*A Hybrid position at Boston Beer requires that our coworkers reside within commuting distance to be onsite according to their teams' weekly schedule.

The Snr. Salesforce Developer is responsible for building and customizing applications with platform tools, including Apex, Visualforce, and LWC. The Developer will work closely with Business Product Owners and System Administrators to implement new business capabilities on the Salesforce platform.

Boston Beer Company currently uses Consumer Goods Cloud for Retail Execution and is looking to expand the impact of Salesforce across the company. The right Snr. Developer would combine strong technical skills with emotional intelligence and be a hands-on leader for Boston Beer's Salesforce team.

What You'll Brew:

  • Collaborate with Salesforce Business Product Owner and System Administrators to implement our change and enhancement roadmap
  • Activities Include:
  • Recommending improvements to existing applications or developing new software to meet business needs
  • Creating designs and prototypes to illustrate how new features or functionality will work
  • Working with other members of the development team to design and develop new applications or improve existing ones
  • Developing and documenting technical specifications for new applications or upgrades to existing ones
  • Design & develop components using Flow, Apex, LWC and Visualforce
  • Identify, escalate, and monitor technical issues to resolution
  • Mentor and manage teams of consultants to keep projects on time.
  • Code review & QA of work done by the team
  • Present architecture options and recommendations - including configuration vs custom code
  • Evaluating new features and supporting the development of new business functions

What Ingredients You'll Bring:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4+ years' experience delivering solutions on the Salesforce platform
  • Proficiency in Apex (including triggers, controllers and batch processing), Visualforce, Aura and LWC
  • Experience building clean, modular, testable solutions in Salesforce via both code and config.
  • Experience working with Business Product Owners to illicit system requirements and implement Salesforce platform enhancements
  • Experience with SFDX and Salesforce DevOps lifecycle

Preferred Qualifications

  • Agile SDLC experience leading estimation, prioritization and application development
  • Experience working with managed packages, Consumer Goods Cloud or TabCRM (CRM Analytics)
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I/II or Architect-level certifications

Level: 6

In accordance with pay transparency laws the salary range for this role if hired is $91,800 - $182,000 annually based on location and the experience level of the candidate. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance.
