Position Summary

The Senior Salesforce Developer is a crucial contributor to the DIGITAL division, reporting to the Technology Infrastructure Architect. As a key team member, this professional will design and develop custom solutions on the force.com platform, emphasizing Lightning, Apex, Communities, Application integration, and Data migrations. Responsibilities encompass creating Lightning Apps/Components, grasping Aura/Web components, and participating in the development of cloud-based business applications.

Active involvement in the complete software development lifecycle is expected, involving the translation of business requirements into application design, configuration, testing, and deployment.

Duties and Responsibilities

Design and develop custom solutions on the force.com platform including significant work in Lightning, Apex, Communities, Application integration, and Data migrations.

Design and develop Lightning Apps/Components and understand Aura/Web components and other UI frameworks.

Design and implement business technology solutions focused on cloud-based business applications.

Involved in developing and translating the business requirements, specifications, process flows, application design, application configuration, testing, and deployment.

Provide insight into advanced business analysis, conduct needs assessments, and perform POC and LOE as required.

Required Skills and Experience

Confident, comfortable communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.

5+ years of experience with hands-on technical development/programming with the Force.com platform and Lightning.

Hands-on configuration of the Salesforce Platform including security, automation, approval processes, flow, custom objects, AppExchange apps, etc. , and understanding of Salesforce platform features, best practices, and governor limits.

Experience and understanding of Agile software development practices and enterprise-level full lifecycle SFDC implementation.

Experience with debugging production issues and resolving them.

Experience with identifying application performance bottlenecks and resolving them.

Ability to understand requirements from the end user, map them to the technical design and develop processes independently.

Experience in crafting detailed design flows and solution proposals for the Information Technology and business community.

Knowledge of SDLC, CI/CD methodologies.

Working experience with Data loader, Apex, Triggers

One or more current Salesforce.com certifications (Administrator, Developer, Sales/Service Cloud).

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent combination of education and experience
