Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

  • Manage Salesforce Platform – Maintenance of multiple Salesforce Clouds

  • Must maintain high level familiarity with Sales and Service Clouds as well as other packages installed in Salesforce.

  • Support multiple lines of business in their use of Salesforce.

  • Review and recommend process change requests to be consistent with other Salesforce operations and not conflict with other business processes.

  • Maintain weekly cadence with business owners to ensure business needs are being met.

  • Production Support

  • Triage, prioritize and resolve end user issues

  • Triage and build enhancement requests

  • Support Training in answering questions and creating user training

  • Provide level 2 and/or 3 support for Salesforce and integrations to adjacent systems

  • Change Management

  • Understand and communicate all relevant changes and potential implications related to Salesforce releases (3 times a year) with user community.

  • Leverage deployment best practices including Dev, UAT and Staging

  • Communicate system changes to the users in advance so they understand any impacts.

  • Maintain System Security and Integrity

  • Manage Profiles, Permission Sets, Role and Sharing Rules to enforce principle of least access

  • Understand private sharing model and role hierarchy access.

  • Grant, Remove and Maintain user licenses

  • Monitor application storage usage and archive data as needed

  • User Assistance, Training, Adoption and Satisfaction

  • Expand use of Salesforce – attend planning meetings, assist with determining if/how Salesforce can be used in new ways as opposed to purchasing a new system.

  • Continually seek ways to further enhance the end-user experience

  • Collaborate closely with application development teams to ensure the functional integrity of deliverables, document functional requirements for features and projects.

  • Data Management

  • Maintain and manage data quality leveraging data quality score/dashboard

  • Perform mass data updates using exports, transformations and loads using varying tools such as Excel, Data Loader, DemandTools

  • Manage duplicate records

  • Develop reports and dashboards to assist management in making data driven business decisions

  • Salesforce CPQ

  • Perform CPQ build and maintenance activities

  • Level 2 support for CPQ related issues.

  • Perform other duties as required and assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of Salesforce experience

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator

  • Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator

  • Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder

  • High level proficiency in Salesforce Lightning user experience

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Flexible and adaptable, able to work in ambiguous situations

  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others at all levels

  • A strong understanding of best practices and functionality and are proficient in:

  • Process Builder, Lightning Flows (Scheduled and User Initiated), Email Alerts and Templates, Standard and Custom Objects, Standard and Customer Fields, Validation Rules, Lookup Filters, Page Layouts, Lightning Pages, Lightning Apps, List Views and Salesforce Communities

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to mentor or lead other administrators on the team

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Salesforce CPQ experience

  • Territory Management, Collaborative Forecasting

  • Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist preferred

Base Pay Range : Annualized salary range offered for this position is estimated to be ($130,000 - $145,000), however, the actual pay range depends on each candidate’s experience, location, and qualifications.

Variable Pay : Discretionary annual bonus, based on personal and company performance.
