Description

The Salesforce Administrator helps lead the ongoing development and success of our Salesforce.com platform. The Salesforce administrator will work closely with other Salesforce Administrators, Salesforce Developers, department leaders, internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify, develop, and deploy new processes within our Salesforce.com instance that benefits the growth and profitability of the company. This role is part technical project manager, part administrator and part Salesforce analyst. The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for the executing on the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of our Salesforce.com instance.

Essential Functions:

Illustrative duties may include, but are not restricted to, the following:

  • Serve as a system administrator for a complex Salesforce environment with 450+ users
  • Assist in developing, deploying, and supporting a customer service portal using Salesforce Experience Cloud
  • Handle basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, automations, and other routine tasks
  • Works with Finance, Commercial, and Operations Data Analysts to provide insight into Salesforce data and configuration
  • Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades
  • Support Salesforce data feeds and integrations
  • Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests
  • Work with our management team to establish suitable processes to support business development activities
  • Assist in training of new users, and grow the Salesforce skill set across the organization

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
  • Minimum four years of experience as a Salesforce administrator
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification required (Salesforce Advanced Administrator certification preferred but not required)
  • Experience supporting Sales Cloud, Service Cloud required and Experience Cloud strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting Pardot and Salesforce CPQ preferred but not required
  • Experiencing using Validity DemandTools and basic knowledge of SOQL preferred but not required
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality
  • Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption
  • Ability to build custom objects, formula fields, flows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity
  • Strong data management abilities
  • A documented history of successfully driving projects to completion
  • A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements

Other Requirements: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to travel to attend on-site meetings and technical conferences.
