The Cloud GTM Strategy and Operations team partners with Salesforce Product executives to drive GTM execution, strategic planning, business analysis, and growth across our ever growing product portfolio. The Senior Manager, Cloud GTM (Go-to-Market) Strategy and Operations will play a crucial role in supporting the growth of the Salesforce Platform. This role is a hybrid of Business Strategy and Sales Operations roles found in technology companies. It features a mix of strategy development, strategic planning, business analysis, sales optimization, and operational support. The individual in this role will be responsible for driving the continued success of Salesforce by supporting product growth for our Salesforce Platform portfolio of products. They will work on a variety of global projects across functions and customer segments, including the launch and cultivating of our newest innovations. Sample strategic projects include developing recommendations on go-to-market strategy, customer segmentation, sales coverage, and investment prioritization. Operationally, the focus will be on forecasting, market sizing, growth trend analysis, sales pipeline analysis, business performance tracking, and formulation of actionable recommendations based on these. This person must feel comfortable interacting with senior management on a regular basis. The role requires interaction with multiple functional teams in the organization (such as Sales, Product Marketing, Product Management, and Customer Success) and provides exposure to senior executives. The successful candidate will have continuous curiosity and possess a passion for creating innovative analysis to identify opportunities. Your Impact Drive strategic initiatives including industry / market expansion, white space analysis, new product launches, pipeline management and country-specific go-to-market plans. Lead ongoing analysis of business performance to support daily operations. Maintain weekly forecasts of business performance for product leadership. Assist in developing and delivering presentations for senior executives, crafting the messages for sales and product leadership. Work cross-functionally to develop growth plans for new product launches, as well as existing products in new geographies or market segments. Troubleshooting operational issues as they surface; propose changes to systems/ processes to fix root causes. Design and interpret key performance metrics and craft plans to address areas of weakness, providing recommendations for strategic decision making Required Skills/Experience 7+ years work in strategic sales/business operations or management consulting, with strong exposure to product go-to-market Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills; proven ability to structure complex problems, develop solutions, and craft high quality executive presentations Strong presentation skills, especially related to building compelling narratives in PowerPoint or Google Slides presentations Self-starter and high degree of motivation to go above and beyond the task at hand High degree of comfort running complex analyses and modeling in Excel or Google Sheets Experience extracting insights from large datasets using SQL BS/BA required; MBA is preferred (Experience will be evaluated based on alignment to the Competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer work, etc.). #LI-Hybrid Accommodations If you require assistance due to a disability applying for open positions please submit a request via this Accommodations Request Form. For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $154,300 to $212,200. For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $168,300 to $231,500.
