Job Summary

The Solution Architect-Salesforce is responsible for the design and architecture of the overall Salesforce Solution aligned to the business requirements of Stifel's business leaders and product owners. The Solution Architect works directly with business stakeholders to define workflow and needs and oversees solution conceptualization and design in coordination with technical and business partners. The Solutions Architect-Salesforce is responsible for designing quality, scalable, and performant solutions and will lead the following but not limited to data modeling, information sharing, multi-component solutions, Salesforce configuration, user experience, deployments, and environment management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • As a key contributor on a project team, guide stakeholders through implementing Salesforce solutions.
  • Engage stakeholders to understand desired business outcomes and define success criteria.
  • Articulate to stakeholders the value of recommended solutions and approaches.
  • Lead discovery and requirements refinement sessions to uncover business, functional, and technological requirements.
  • Design elegant, innovative Salesforce solutions involving configuration of Salesforce and Managed Packages, creation and refinement of complex data models, external integration, business process automation, and other custom functionality.
  • Draft custom development specifications and manage the delivery and testing of the functionality by Development resources.
  • Interact with vendors to support integration between the groups involved.
  • Coordinate with the Architecture Team to ensure cohesive direction aligned on delivery.
  • Work with software developers and other end users to ensure technical compatibility.
  • Establish and assist in adherence to Salesforce development standards.

Qualifications

  • Solid knowledge of key B2B, B2C, and hybrid business model levers.
  • Solid understanding of key concepts of user-centered design and design thinking.
  • Solid knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of writing and consuming web services.
  • Experience with business process definition, best practices, and reengineering.
  • Experience with data migrations from third-party systems to Salesforce.
  • Experience designing or building Salesforce integrations with third-party applications.
  • Ability to work with multiple approaches to solving a problem and choosing the most appropriate solution.
  • Excellent communication skills, analyzing capabilities, and management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task to address various and often conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to demonstrate a proactive approach to problem resolution, strong troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; or equivalent experience required
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce solution design required
  • 3+ years of experience with Salesforce implementation in the Financial Service industry.

Licenses & Credentials

  • Certified Salsforce.com Administrator (ADM-201) or equivalent experience.
  • Certified Salesforce.com Sales Cloud Consultant or equivalent experience.

Systems & Technology

  • JavaScript Libraries/Frameworks (Angular, jQuery).
  • Salesforce Sales Cloud.
  • Lightning Experience.
  • SOQL.
  • SQL.

Salary:$151,000 - $226,000 per year

Actual salaries may vary, and may be based on several factors, including but not limited to each candidate's qualifications, skills, and overall competencies for the position. The base salary is one component of Stifel's overall compensation package for each individual employee.
