About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking a Senior Salesforce QA Tester to join the EPA ITIMS team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

    Work with business analysts and developers to create test plans and test cases from use cases/user stories.

  • Ensure that business requirements are mapped to the functional specification and have sufficient test coverage
  • Perform thorough test planning and write test cases that cover all areas.
  • Perform functional, smoke, UI, regression, and system integration testing of software applications, including Salesforce applications.
  • QA of custom APEX classes, triggers and flows necessary for achieve client business goals
  • Prepare Test Data to validate the reports functionality
  • Track test case status and log bugs and fixes.
  • Perform manual and automated testing.
  • Ensure adherence of Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation, and write maintain test classes for all custom development
  • Develop, execute, refine and maintain Automation Test cases/scripts.
  • Design and write automation scripts, debug test cases, use automation frameworks, probe into problems that arise post-testing.
  • Ensure that the software code meets both functional and non-functional requirements and fulfills the acceptance criteria.

Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 3 years of Salesforce QA testing experience
  • Solid knowledge of Quality Assurance practices & testing methodologies
  • Experience in reading requirements and acceptance criteria to create QA test scripts
  • Experience with manual testing, building test plans, test scripts and test cases
  • Knowledge of automation testing highly desired, with exposure to one or more test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, Webdriver, SoapUI, HP - UFT (QTP), RFT, Appium, Apache JMeter, Katalon, etc.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and working experience in Agile environment.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer 1 or adminstrater certification
  • Bachelor's in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent work experience

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Understanding of Salesforce capabilities and constraints
  • Hands on experience testing in the Salesforce classic and Lightning ecosystems.
  • Object knowledge such as process flows, Omniscripts, Lightning, JAVA, Apex
  • Salesforce test experience with end-to-end testing process and methods including system integration.
  • Knowledge of performance, security, and Section 508 testing.
  • Experience working on CI/ CD platform and familiarity with Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins,
