If you are a Software Development professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you!  You will join a forward looking, fast paced and innovative team that is expanding to provide multiple business units with new and improved features in a single Lightning only org. The primary function of this position will be to provide expertise in Salesforce development including the able develop and debug Apex classes, triggers and web components as well as comfortably work with the various declarative process automation tools that Salesforce provides.
AS A SENIOR SALESFORCE DEVELOPER, YOU WILL: 
  • Understand all aspects of Salesforce configuration and technical/functional capabilities, including all changes and potential system implications related to the Salesforce release upgrades
  • Communicate regularly with the Salesforce Business Owner, IT systems leadership, CRM Steering Committee and other stakeholders to ensure functionality meets field needs and to develop ongoing project plan
  • Understand and comply with established organizational governance structures and policies
  • Have in-depth understanding of Data Models, schema and application development
  • Be proficient in end-to-end software development methodology, agile methodology
  • Understand Sandbox architecture and Salesforce application release management
  • Maintain high-level familiarity with other IT system/business application capabilities and scope definition to make recommendations about potential integration
  • Develop ad-hoc reports as requested by user groups or stakeholders, perform analysis on data as required
  • Maintain and communicate system metrics to track trends in usage and data integrity
  • Strive to achieve a high configuration, low coding standard
  • Create and maintain Flows, Workflows and Process Builders

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
  • Certified Salesforce Administrator, Advanced Administrator and Platform App Builders
  • Five (5) or more years of experience as a Salesforce developer
  • Development knowledge/abilities in Apex, LWC/Aura, Java and Javascript ES6 , Java 8
  • Experience using SFDX CLI to create, update and maintain unmanaged second-generation packages
  • Understanding of how the MDAPI can be used
  • Understand the differences between the DX and Metadata source formats and be able to update, convert and troubleshoot issues in both formats
  • Experience using git and Jira (or equivalent)
  • Experience reading and interpreting Salesforce debug logs
  • Experience developing Oracle PL/SQL processes
  • Experience developing and troubleshooting Flows, Workflows and Process Builders
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role
  • Ability to work remote
 PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:  
  • Experience with Oracle and Linux administration and development
