Job Purpose
The Senior Salesforce Administrator works as part of the team dedicated to the technical administration, configuration, and enhancement of the HR Salesforce.com solutions. This includes working directly with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and optimize system solutions. This person serves as the "go to" for users, promotes adoption, and stays current on Salesforce.com functionality, best practices, releases, product roadmaps and 3rd party applications available via the AppExchange. This role applies broad and current knowledge of the full application capabilities, features/functions available to an end user to perform administrative functions at an expert level.

Finds opportunities for system and business process improvements. Follows the SDLC process to implement new solutions while effectively adhering to communication planning. Gathers and analyzes business requirements and translates into technical designs. Designs and implements technical solutions to satisfy functional and non-functional requirements while ensuring quality, scalability and timely delivery. Modifies the system to increase benefits and usability. Manages Salesforce.com data feeds and other integrations. Manages all processes that impact / relate to Salesforce. Manages new releases of Salesforce and efficiently roll out new features. Creates, maintains, and enhances objects, layouts, workflows, process builder and validation rules, permissions, roles, reports, dashboards, and logical formulas.

Assists in training of new users, and grows the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization. Proactively gathers feedback from users. Expands use of Salesforce by attending planning meetings and providing expert guidance in how Salesforce can be used to facilitate business processes as appropriate. Communicates regularly with users regarding new features, enhancements and changes to the system. Monitors usage and mentors users/groups needing assistance. Continually seeks ways to further enhance the end-user experience.

Documents new processes, modifications, and enhancements as they pertain to Salesforce.

Creates and maintains reports and dashboards and responds to ad hoc reporting requests as needed. Develops complex, macro driven reports to summarize system information for Senior Management.

Completes regular internal system audits and prepare for releases/upgrades. Monitors application storage usage and archive data as needed. Ensures data integrity by performing mass uploads and updates of data as required; removing unnecessary fields and data; ensuring screens, fields and workflows have accurate names and are current.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
• Salesforce Administrator and Advanced Administrator certifications.
• At least one additional Salesforce certification: App Builder, Architect, Consultant or Developer.
• Proven project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests and manage laterally as well as upwards.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator
• Strong reporting background using Salesforce reporting tools
• Ability to develop effective working relationships with business partners, Business Analysts and project team partners to design and deliver solutions, resolve issues and drive work to completion
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
• Strong oral and written communications skills
• Ability to work in a highly matrixed business environment
• Computer literate and proficient in standard office applications Word, Excel and Outlook
• Strong problem solving skills, data and software applications
