The demand for fresh food is increasing the need for better shipping and storing capabilities across the entire cold supply chain. Food spoilage is a significant challenge; about 1/3 of all food produced is thrown away. Food safety is another issue, with 1 in 6 Americans contracting foodborne illness each year. We see a future where all food shipped and stored from farm to fork arrives safely and sustainably. Emerson does not produce, move, store, or sell food directly. We serve businesses that perform all those jobs. Serving businesses and optimizing our customer's performance across their Cold Chain is the role Emerson plays. Our team's mission is to efficiently keep food fresh and safe, track each step, and make it easy for our customers.
Emerson Commercial and Residential Solutions is looking for a Salesforce Admin to join a forward looking, fast paced and innovative team that is expanding to provide multiple business units with new and improved features Sales and Service org. The primary function of this position will be to provide expertise in Salesforce administration including the declarative process automation tools.
AS A SENIOR SALESFORCE ADMINISTRATOR, YOU WILL:
- Own and deliver new process updates and projects with cross-functional stakeholders, including ideation, requirement gathering, build and success tracking
- Understand and comply with established org governance structures and policies
- Work within a complex Sales and Service cloud implementation
- Maintain system documentation and Salesforce policies/procedures
- Understand Sandbox architecture and Salesforce application release management processes
- Perform analysis on record data to maintain data integrity and eliminate record duplication
- Analyze, prototype, test and help drive the adoption of new features
- Participate in change management process. Drive communication efforts across relevant stakeholders
- Manage security settings including internal and external sharing rules
- Work with stakeholders to define, create and manage complex workflows, data validations and triggers

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent plus three (3 ) years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator in a 100 user environment
- Certified Salesforce Administrator
- Experience working with all the following:
- Sales and Service Clouds
- Flows and Process Builders
- User management including permissions sets, roles, and profiles
- Basic reports and dashboards
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Highly organized, detail oriented, and ability to work independently.
- Experience working in iterative projects, and with deployment strategies/processes (staging environment vs. production).
- Strong understanding of Agile based development practices and Sprint planning strategies
- Experience working with all the following:
- Communities
- Jira (or equivalent)
- VCS (BitBucket/GitHub)
- Omni-Channel
- Email-To-Case
- Experience with any of the following tools/applications would be helpful:
- Gearset
- Validity Demand Tools
- AccelQ
- OwnBackup
