CASES a NYC nonprofit serving people impacted by the criminal legal system seeks a Senior Salesforce Administrator for the implementation and support of human services managed package Salesforce Exponents Case Management (ECM). This central role will customize database trainings and provide user support across sites to promote best practices, achieve data integrity, and fully utilize system capacity. This role is part technical project manager, part administrator and part Salesforce analyst. The successful candidate will be a champion to achieve a better Salesforce-based solution to support our mission and programs. CASES seeks an open-minded Salesforce leader who looks at problems from every angle, has the appetite, vision and patience to get it right, and can bring experience and skill to the database team.

Hybrid Position: includes in-person work at program locations in NYC (downtown Brooklyn and Central Harlem) and flexible hybrid work schedule

Reports to: Database Manager

Job Description

  • Develop comprehensive understanding of multiple program business processes
  • Manage the ECM project to keep it on track
  • Review functional specs, test customizations, and ensure that software solutions are aligned with program contracts, grants and reporting requirements
  • Coordinate data migration from current customized Salesforce platform to ECM
  • Create and deliver trainings with pretrial services leadership for end users
  • Develop user guides, workflow documentation and system manuals
  • Provide day-to-day end-user support across pretrial service sites including implementation, user adoption, system maintenance, testing and data integrity
  • Commit to work collaboratively toward resolving obstacles
  • Debugging complex technical issues, and delivering appropriate immediate fixes & long-term solutions integrated across all the programs
  • Work as a core member of the multidisciplinary governance team managing customizations, additions and changes to ECM
  • Conduct new application testing and implementation
  • Work independently and as part of a team and foster team-focused solutions based on collaboration with leadership, program staff, data and analytics, evaluation, grants and contract, and executive staff
  • Identify production risks and areas for improvement; prioritize, design and facilitate successful implementation and adoption of new processes
  • Uphold defined business practices with high data quality and integrity standards
  • Manage database deduping and database cleanup for data accuracy
  • Manage and maintain relevant third-party integrations
  • Prioritize work across multiple projects with high visibility and meet deadlines
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and the data and analytics unit on quality assurance protocols
  • Keep abreast of new ECM and Salesforce features and functionality to provide recommendations for process improvements to the governance team
  • Communicate clearly and accurately in both verbal and written mode concisely describing problems, solutions, specifications and plans
  • Facilitate and sustain a culture that embodies diverse walks of life, ideas, genders, ages, races, cultures, sexual orientations, abilities and other unique qualities in the database team and across CASES
  • Any other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years Salesforce administrator experience, preferably in NPSP
  • Proven project management skills
  • Experience working with a planning and implementation team
  • Salesforce Admin Certification, including Lightning
  • Experience with managed packages in Salesforce
  • Commitment to continuous on-the-job training as the environment lends itself to changing technology needs
  • Non-profit experience preferred

Additional Information

Salary: $90,000

Full-time 35-hour week with excellent benefits
