Bausch + Lomb is seeking a dynamic and experienced **Senior Manager, Global Salesforce Architect** to lead the way in shaping the future of our Commercial space. In this role, you will be at the forefront of defining and implementing cutting-edge functional and technical solutions that support complex business processes and enterprise architecture needs. Your expertise will span across Global Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Digital Engagement, with a focus on optimizing processes and leveraging the Salesforce platform to its full potential.

**Responsibilities:**

+ Drive the overall architectural direction of the Salesforce Platform, encompassing Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud, with a keen eye on the global landscape.

+ Develop a comprehensive roadmap that identifies target applications, features, investments, timelines, and migration plans.

+ Collaborate closely with business leaders to align their processes with industry best practices and champion the optimization of business operations.

+ Present and make recommendations for potential solutions to business leaders, ensuring that feature functions are not only feasible but also aligned with the organization's goals.

+ Promote standardization within commercial teams by defining common patterns, governance, and best practices in integration, data management, and operations.

+ Work closely with the development team to ensure that technical requirements and design follow best practices for functionality, performance, and security. Ensure that solutions are in line with the roadmap for Sales, Service, and Marketing domains.

+ Oversee the development and delivery of Salesforce solutions, leveraging both native and third-party tools such as Copado.

+ Manage the integration and support of Salesforce with third-party applications, enhancing the core platform with additional capabilities, such as Own Backup, Copado and DocuSign.

+ Collaborate with other application architects to identify key areas of integration with platforms like SAP, PeopleSoft, Optimizely, AWS, and Informatica, identifying inter-dependencies and synergies across the roadmap.

+ Drive the adoption of industry accelerators and assets to support differentiation and delivery excellence.

+ Organize demand, prioritize delivery in partnership with the business, bundle request demands, maintain the roadmap, identify dependencies across portfolios, and provide guidance on budget and capacity planning.

+ Ensure that third-party vendor design, build, and testing align with the established strategy and standards.

+ Collaborate with architects, technical leads, and key stakeholders within the organization to recommend platform adoption and utilization.

**Qualifications:**

+ Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, business management or related discipline. Masters Degree a plus.

+ 8 or more years of global software development and deployment experience which should also include at least 5 years experience delivering applications on Salesforce, preferably in the life sciences or consumer industry.

+ 4 years of experience in managing cross functional teams in an IT setting for both Waterfall and Agile/SCRUM projects.

+ Life Sciences experience in the Commercial domain is a must.

+ Proficiency in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, APEX, and Visualforce.

+ Experience with data ingestion and data warehousing on an AWS cloud platform.

+ Proficiency in data reporting and dashboards using Microsoft PowerBI in collaboration with business users.

+ Expertise in developing Interfaces/Integrations between on-premises and Salesforce platforms using APIs, Web Services, and ETL tools such as Informatica and MuleSoft.

+ Solid background in architecture concepts, integration styles, architecture styles, and patterns.

+ Good understanding of the SaaS ecosystem - Force, AWS, Azure, Middleware (Informatica) and ERPs (Sap/PeopleSoft).

+ Strong understanding of customer journey experience and analytics.

+ Proven ability to manage and resolve complex technical issues.

+ Creativity and critical thinking.

+ Ability to effectively manage multiple initiatives and conflicting priorities.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
