As a Senior Lead Salesforce Engineer, you will bring your technical skills to a hospitality company with an award-winning culture. On the Software Engineering - Contact Center team reporting to the Director Principal Platform Architect, you will support innovative projects including our Next Gen Contact Center Platform, Reservation and Booking System, and Guest Assistance Platform.

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

  • Contribute to Design, Develop, and Test highly customized Salesforce applications using primarily Lightning Web Components and Aura Components
  • Function as the technical Lead and provide domain expertise for Salesforce-related development projects
  • Partner with Solution Architect, Business Partners, and other Software Engineers to translate business requirements into functional applications
  • Maintain codebase, resolve technical issues, and find opportunities for performance and feature improvements
  • Maintain environment strategy, including procedures for code versioning, release management, and deployment process
  • Remain current on product enhancement, release schedules, and optimizations to existing codebase with a focus on improving operational efficiency

How you will collaborate with others:

  • Partner with Product Team to understand requirements, build functional design documentation, and develop technology solutions that align with business goals
  • Work with various internal IT groups to integrate solution components in Salesforce and understand technical dependencies and its implications
  • Provide support to product development in terms of escalation, estimation, prioritization, and help manage the backlog
  • Provide advice, mentorship, and assistance to junior engineers in order to develop staff capabilities

What projects you will take ownership of:

  • Hilton’s Next Gen Contact Center App built on Salesforce Platform and continue to innovate using Lightning Web Components, Lightning Flows, Automation APIs, and other Platform Capabilities
  • Modern Frameworks and Design Patterns for better scalability and future state of the Applications, including new and advanced capabilities in partnership with all Hilton Digital Channels


You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Seven (7) years of professional experience in Technology or a related field
  • Six (6) years of experience in a full-lifecycle software development role
  • Five (5) years of experience developing custom applications on the Salesforce platform, including using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, Aura Framework, HTML/CSS, SOQL/SOSL, Triggers, API Integrations, Batch Apex, Workflows, Process Builder, and Lightning Flows
  • Three (3) years of experience in Lightning configuration, features, and architecture
  • The following Salesforce Certifications are required– Salesforce Platform Developer II and Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant

It would be useful if you have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s Degree plus 6 years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12 years of Technology related experience
  • Any other Salesforce certifications, including Certified Javascript Developer
  • Experience leading the development and implementation of Salesforce solutions in an enterprise environment
  • Expert-level knowledge of Service Cloud development, configuration, features, and architecture
  • Experience integrating with external systems using the API, as well as third-party REST-based APIs and integration tools (marketing automation, business intelligence, ETL)
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks such as React, and Angular. Solid grasp of newer ECMAScript specifications
  • Experience implementing both authenticated and unauthenticated Salesforce Experience Cloud sites
