The Clean Energy Transportation (CET) group is focused on accelerating the adoption of clean vehicles in California. We serve PG&E's customers by deploying electric vehicle charging stations under several infrastructure programs. Position Summary

CET's Program Management Office (PMO) provides operational and financial tracking and oversight of CET's programs, ensuring that these programs serve PG&E's customers safely, reliably, and affordably while enabling the achievement of ambitious clean energy transportation adoption goals.

The Program Manager, Senior (PM) will be responsible for supporting team members in CET with the Salesforce platform. The PM will serve as the primary point of contact between CET members and PG&E's IT team for Salesforce system enhancements, new case resolutions, and bug defects. The PM will also write and maintain Salesforce user training guides and lead training sessions as needed. Additionally, the PM will have the opportunity to work on CET Program Management Office (PMO) projects beyond Salesforce support. These assignments could include work like development of communications for internal or external stakeholders, data collection and analysis, and process mapping.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working across cross-functional teams and demonstrated ability to own and manage their own workstream. The Program Manager, Senior role is expected to operate independently with little supervision, proactively identify and communicate risks, and proffer recommendations for systems improvement. The chosen candidate is also expected to have strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to inform decision making, and the ability to effectively work both in teams and individually.

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The preferred work location is Oakland. The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory.

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity.

A reasonable salary range is:

Bay Area Minimum: $102,000

Bay Area Maximum: $152,000

and/or

California Minimum: $97,000

California Maximum: $144,000

Job Responsibilities

  • Support efforts to engage business users on using Salesforce in their day-to-day work, and seek continuous improvement of the system by gathering user feedback
  • Tracks status of defects, supports Super Users in case resolution, and communicates fix timelines to CET stakeholders
  • Support deployment of new products in Salesforce platform
  • Support UAT (user acceptance testing) of new products & features
  • Support other members of the CET PMO as new projects and workstreams arise

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 6 years of related experience or equivalent

Desired:

  • Strongly desired: experience with appropriate software tools, currently Salesforce and SAP
  • Experience with Clean Energy and/or prior EV related work
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences
  • Proficiency in Excel and the ability to develop reports
  • Ability to communicate findings and recommendations to various levels of management
  • Ability to work in a team environment and support fellow team members
  • Takes initiative and can work independently with minimal direction
