Overview:

We are seeking a Salesforce Technical Architect to join our team in the support of the California Department of Food and Agriculture's (CDFA) initiative to replace a legacy system for the Animal Health and Food Safety Services Division (AHFSS) with a Salesforce SaaS solution.

Tasks:

The Salesforce Technical Architect shall:

• Design and build a high performance technical solution on the Salesforce SaaS platform to meet the project scope.
• Functional and non-functional requirements.
• Prepare a recommended Salesforce solution architecture to meet the CDFA enterprise architecture goals.
• Produce a secure, scalable and high performance solution to maximize the full potential and business value of the Salesforce Platform.

Mandatory Skills:

• Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Business Management from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience within the last 7 years as a Technical Architect on a Salesforce implementation project.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Salesforce Technical Architect on a Salesforce Public Sector Solutions implementation project.
• Must have certification as a Salesforce Application Architect and System Architect.

Desirable Skills:

• Must have a Salesforce Developer II certificate.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience within the last 10 years implementing a Salesforce application system for a state, county or city government with a population greater than 1,000,000 people.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience within the last 10 years implementing Salesforce Public Sector Solutions.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Project Manager within the last 10 years implementing a technology project for the State of California.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience within the last 10 years implementing other State & Local Government projects.
