About This Role

The Salesforce Solution Engineer is responsible for design, development, and implementation of code in Salesforce to support, build, and improve the processes and productivity of the business. This role will work closely with the Salesforce Analyst and Admin as well as multiple department leaders to develop solutions that meet stakeholder requirements.

On a given day, your work might include:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy solutions including dashboards, interfaces, and integrations within Salesforce.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify core operational bottlenecks and propose innovative solutions.
  • Architect and develop technical solutions in Salesforce Platform.
  • Investigate and consult with multiple departments to resolve and triage bugs.
  • Occasional administrative setup e.g. managing users, security controls, data, creating roles, profiles, and reports as well as designing custom objects, fields, picklists, page layouts etc.
  • Provide technical support for integrations with Salesforce, in-house systems, and third-party applications.
  • Contribute to technical documentation and process improvements.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in related field (Information Systems, Computer Science); experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
  • 3-6+ years of experience developing in Salesforce as well as configuration experience in Sales Cloud and/or Servie Cloud configuration.
  • 1+ years of experience designing and architecting new and existing designs.
  • Salesforce certifications in Flow (Salesforce Platform App Builder, Platform developer 1 or 2, Artchitect) Experienced with SFDC toolkit, VisualForce, and APEX. Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Utilization of Java, Javascript, SQL, CSS, DHTML, HTML, XML, AJAX, jQuery.
  • Experience working within an Agile environment using Scrum methodology preferred.
  • Experience using GitHub or other version control software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively multitask simultaneous demands and make quick decisions when faced with unexpected occurrences or delays.

Hours & Compensation

This is a full-time position paying $96,000 - $145,000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary range for this position. Individual placement within a salary range will vary based upon factors including but not limited to candidate experience, knowledge, individual, skills, and organizational performance.
