We're actively seeking a talented Salesforce Senior Systems Analyst to join our Salesforce Center of Excellence (CoE) team in Newport Beach, CA. This role can be on-site or 100% remote.As a Salesforce Senior Systems Analyst, you'll play a key role in Pacific Life's growth and long-term success by working closely with our Consumer Markets Division stakeholders to enable and optimize the CRM to align with business processes. You will fill a role that sits on a team of ~30 people in the Salesforce CoE. Your colleagues will include analysts, developers, and fellow Salesforce professionals who support sales, service, and marketing teams across Pacific Life.How you will make an impact:Gather and understand stakeholder business needs. Clearly define current and to-be business processes and document business and solution requirementsRepresent business stakeholders in the planning and analysis of solutions to meet business needsCollaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and technical team members to solve business problems with Salesforce integration solutionsAssist in defining required features and mapping Salesforce features to client business processesShow your proficiency with the Salesforce platform, including ability to perform basic Salesforce configuration, lead development of Proof of Concept (POC) solutions, and demo software features and capabilities to business stakeholdersPerform QA testing for iterative development cycles across various Salesforce projectsProvide excellent customer support to internal application users, including managing and supporting production issues and requests, research and troubleshooting data issues, and supporting new user onboarding and trainingThe experience you will bring:8+ years of experience in translating business needs into effective software solutions, in the role of a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst2+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales, Service, Marketing, or Experience Clouds. Ability to understand business concepts and evaluate the impact of business changes on systemsExcellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills, working in an Agile software delivery modelStrong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independentlyBasic configuration experience in Salesforce, including reports, dashboards, and list viewsExperience working with distributed external resources and vendor teams (onshore and offshore)Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experienceWhat will make you stand out:Experience in the Financial Services industryAchieved or in the process of earning Salesforce certificationsBe highly driven and able to self-manage in a fast-paced environment#LI-JA1You belong at Pacific LifeAt Pacific Life we are committed to a culture of belonging, a space where all employees are empowered to be authentic.
