Emerson Commercial and Residential Solutions is looking for a Senior Salesforce System Administrator/ Developer who is interested in joining a forward looking, fast paced and innovative team that is expanding to provide multiple business units with new and improved features in a single Lightning only Salesforce organization. While the primary function of this position will be to provide expertise in Salesforce administration for a single business unit. The ideal candidate should also be able to develop and debug Apex classes and triggers as well as comfortably work with the declarative process automation tools that Salesforce provides.
Responsibilities

Proficient in Lightning Platform and capabilities

Able to effectively leverage Salesforce configuration and technical/functional capabilities to meet stakeholder requirements

Understanding and complies with established org governance policies including a high config, low coding standard

Possesses an in-depth understanding of data model, schema and application development
-
Understands and effectively utilizes sandbox architecture and Salesforce application release management
-
Proficient in end-to-end software development methodology, agile methodology
-
Utilizes the MDAPI and related tools to migrate and debug metadata between development orgs, VCS, sandboxes and production orgs
-
Uses SFDX CLI to create, update, and maintain unmanaged second-generation packages
-
Maintains a high-level of familiarity with other IT systems/business application capabilities and scope definition to make recommendations related to Salesforce integration

Manages all security settings including internal and external sharing rules
-
Develops and maintains naming conventions of picklists, report folders, dashboard, etc. to improve system usability

Creates and maintains Flows, Workflows, and Process Builders
-
Creates, updates, and maintains multiple Salesforce communities for customers and partners
-
Manages all new user set-ups and deactivation, including transferring ownership of records for deactivation, including transferring ownership of records for deactivated users

Develops ad-hoc reports as requested by user groups or stakeholders, performs analysis on data as required

Creates and manages email and mail merge templates

Regularly audits data to uncover data integrity issues and/or opportunities for process improvement
-
Performs manual or automated data entry/data clean-up as required

Maintains updated system documentation and Salesforce policies/procedures

Requirements
Basic
- Certified Salesforce Administrator, Advanced Administrator and Platform App Builders
- Minimum of five (5) years of applicable work experience
- Experience developing and troubleshooting Flows, Workflows and Process Builders
- Experience with Service Cloud, Sales Cloud
- Proficient in Lightning Platform and capabilities
- Experience configuring Salesforce Omni-Channel
- Understanding of Salesforce Platform capabilities and architecture
- Able to effectively leverage Salesforce configuration and technical/functional capabilities to meet stakeholder requirements
- Maintains updated system documentation and Salesforce policies/procedures
- Understands and complies with established org governance policies including a high config, low coding standard
- Possesses an in-depth understanding of data model, schema and application development
- Understands and effectively utilizes sandbox architecture and Salesforce application release management
- Manages all security settings including internal and external sharing rules

Preferred
- Eight (8) or more years of relevant work experience
- Proficient in end-to-end software development methodology, agile methodology
- Utilizes the MDAPI and related tools to migrate and debug metadata between development orgs, VCS, sandboxes and production orgs
- Uses SFDX CLI to create, update and maintain unmanaged second-generation packages
- Creates, updates and maintains multiple Salesforce communities for customers and partners
- Development knowledge/abilities in either Apex or Java and JavaScript
- Experience using git and Jira (or equivalent)
- Experience with Marketing Cloud, Eloqua, Inbox, Communities
- Experience in working in a Salesforce org that has multiple business units
