As a Salesforce QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Salesforce applications. The ideal candidate has a strong background in testing Salesforce solutions, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality software.Responsibilities:Agile Testing:Work closely with Agile development teams to understand user stories, acceptance criteria, and sprint goals.Participate in sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings to provide insights into testing requirements.Test Planning and Strategy:Develop comprehensive test plans that align with Agile development cycles.Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to define testing scope and objectives.Test Case Design and Execution:Create detailed and effective test cases, covering both functional and non-functional requirements of Salesforce applications.Execute manual and automated test cases, ensuring the quality and reliability of the Salesforce platform.API Testing:Conduct API testing to validate the integration points between Salesforce and other systems.Collaborate with development teams to ensure proper API functionality and data consistency.Defect Tracking and Reporting:Identify, document, and track defects using established defect tracking tools.Communicate effectively with development teams to facilitate the resolution of reported issues.Regression Testing:Perform thorough regression testing to validate that new development does not adversely impact existing functionality.Develop and maintain a suite of automated regression tests to support Agile development cycles.Collaboration and Communication:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate continuous improvement in testing processes.Communicate testing progress, results, and issues in a clear and concise manner.Continuous Learning:Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in Salesforce and API testing.
