Who We Are Looking For:

Atkore's Corporate Marketing team is looking for a Salesforce Product Owner who will be a key contributor across the global Atkore organization and work closely with the Director of Marketing, Business Analysts, and Salesforce Administrators to maintain and improve the Atkore's Salesforce organization, promoting ease of use and global user adoption.

This individual should be able demonstrate broader vision and leadership skills as he/she is expected to eventually lead the organization in CRM best practices and roadmap development.

What You'll Do:

  • Own the Salesforce.com platform as Product Owner for the global company.
  • Lead the continuous development a 500+ user global org on Sales Cloud and CPQ.
  • Lead requirements-gathering across businesses to synthesize and prioritize pipeline of enhancements.
  • Lead Salesforce Governance through a Change Review Board and Monthly Leader Meetings, effectively managing and socializing prioritization of projects
  • Develop and maintain the Salesforce roadmap to deliver commercial solutions.
  • Partner with Salesforce Administrators on IT team to deliver key milestones on the Salesforce roadmap.
  • Define test scripts and ensure successful UAT by customers for large initiatives.
  • Prepare, facilitate, and lead user training across various domains.
  • Work with internal customers to deliver OOB configuration needs.
  • Create dashboards and reports for visibility to key insights.
  • Create standard work for commercial, non-technical CRM processes.
  • Develop and mentor a direct report.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent.
  • 7+ years' experience in Salesforce development.
  • 3+ years' experience with CPQ systems.
  • Direct experience working on CRM projects for global enterprise-sized companies.
  • Certified Salesforce Administrator.
  • Certified CPQ Specialist.
  • Direct experience working on CRM projects for global enterprise-sized companies.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence organizational leadership, present concepts and roadmap, and manage/prioritize workload.

Within 3 Months, You'll:

  • Complete your new hire "Immersion" so that you are ready to rock in your new role and have embraced Atkore's culture and business system.
  • Know your peers and have built relationships with key stakeholders. More importantly, you'll be living our values as well as how to navigate the Atkore Business System.

Within 6 Months, You'll:

  • Understand our Salesforce org and how to use your skills to be effective in the role.
  • Have developed your point of view on the future roadmap for our Salesforce org.
  • Have begun leading the Change Review Board and Monthly Leader Meetings to prioritize work.

Within 12 Months, You'll:

  • Have put your fingerprint on the Salesforce.com Roadmap.
  • Have established yourself as the clear Product Owner for CRM.
  • Be the subject matter expert and leader for Atkore's CRM strategic vision and roadmap.
