Salesforce Performance Test Engineer

Position Description
We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic performance engineer to join our team! In this role you would be responsible for the planning, execution and reporting of all performance activities across multiple Salesforce cloud and 3rd party applications. You should have proven leadership skills, the ability to think critically and problem-solve, and a track-record of ensuring project milestones and deadlines are met.

This position can be located at any CGI office in the U.S, preferred location is Tallahassee, Florida.

Your future duties and responsibilities
Plan/Create and implement performance scripts, document and report issues/results in the time frames provided.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or relevant engineering discipline
- Salesforce Performance testing experience is required - ideally Salesforce CPQ performance testing - Sales Cloud/Revenue Cloud/Service Cloud/Salesforce Field Services
- Strong working experience using tools, such as LoadRunner Enterprise and Cloud
- Strong understanding of API testing and message queuing/IP services, MQ Series, MuleSoft.
- Strong database (DB) performance testing experience
- Strong Web performance testing experience, including using protocols such as, Web, HTTP/HTML
- Strong programming skills in either Java/JavaScript or C/C++ or other object-oriented languages
- Experienced in collecting of NFRs, how to attach NFRs to User Stories feature level, define the acceptance criteria for Perf Testing done against user feature level
- Flexibility to work late nights and weekends based on project needs
- Expertise in building and maintaining Performance test frameworks from scratch for web or mobile apps
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including ability to communicate and collaborate with other engineering teams and key business stakeholders
- Experience working in agile or iterative SDLC
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to analyze/interpret technical data, and summarize information to deliver clear and concise reports
- Expertise in Quality Assurance practices, procedures, policies
- Understanding of network latencies, geolocation and bandwidth dependencies around performance, caching, and garbage collection
- Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required
- Experience with Citrix performance testing
- Familiarity with Monitoring tools, such as Dynatrace and Splunk
- Familiarity with JMeter
- Hands-on experience with Agile and DevOps methodology, Performance CI/CD Test Pipeline and Quality Gates during Build phase, working directly with DevOps and other engineers to push forward best practices in performance engineering and technical excellence

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $71,800.00 - $146,900.00.
