About The Role

Do you love nothing better than a beautifully designed, performant and scalable Salesforce org, hosting perfectly formatted data?

Meraki Support is looking for a performance engineer to work alongside our Salesforce engineering team, which builds and maintains the platform the global Meraki technical support team relies on to provide next-generation service to our customers!

40% Service Cloud Optimization

Actively seek out problem areas in Salesforce, and suggest improvements to increase performance, user experience, and data quality.

Enable earlier detection of performance issues by providing per-release statistics and data.

Coordinate with our DevOps team to identify solutions to performance issues.

20% Technical Design

Work with our Project management team early in projects to identify performance implications of various solutions.

Take ownership of the technical foundation of our Service Cloud instance. Help guide improvements, and prevent design mistakes in both Apex code, and integrations to other platforms.

20% Developer Guidance

Support our developers by providing architectural advice during particularly tricky technical projects.

Review and sign off on architectural work in Salesforce.

20% Professional Development

Every member of the Support Software team is encouraged to spend 20% of their time on projects with an intersection between their personal development interests and our business needs.

Stay well-versed in the latest theory and best practices in the Salesforce ecosystem.

Attend industry meetups, webinars, and conferences.

Grow your leadership skills by completing classes from our robust learning catalog.

Required Qualifications

* 5+ years of enterprise development experience

* Proven examples of performance-focused programming work

* Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology or related technical field

* Salesforce Lightning-based projects experience

Preferred Qualifications

* Relevant Salesforce certifications and/or Trailhead badges

* Prior experience with Support or Service organizations is also a plus
