Salesforce Marketing Cloud Technician

Weiss Ratings is looking for a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Technician who will be the face of our marketing cloud efforts. This person will collaborate with other team members and serve as the expert of Salesforce Marketing cloud and its applications. This person will help with maintaining data integrity and integrations between our website and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Key Responsibilities:

Primary system support lead/technician for Salesforce Marketing Cloud and its applications

· Establish best practice application support method and processes, including maintenance and support roadmaps, processes, and technical documentation

· Requirement gathering, analysis, solution, and design of new interfaces/integrations within scope

· Evaluate new functionalities for the platform that enables new channels or integrations that can be used across brands

· Development, Testing, Deployment of new campaigns/integrations and releases

· Troubleshooting, gap analysis and process improvement

· Investigate, resolve, test and deploy incidents as assigned

· Maintains named systems, alerting various stakeholders to install / process issues, owning issues until handed off

· Monitors system performance, and verifies that peripheral integrations are functioning as expected

· Implement and manage data backup and recovery policies

· Monitor key data propagation & integration process

· Evaluates and streamlines business processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness within the team and with the client

· Participates in strategic planning meetings with the client and manages client expectations in terms of support and delivery

· Leads, manages, and coaches the SFMC App Support team with shared focus on growth of existing skillset

· Be a part of technical design sessions to develop technical solutions to best leverage Salesforce

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field of study

  • 4+ years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud; SFMC certified preferred

  • Highly proficient with Salesforce Marketing Cloud technologies, including Interaction Studio, Journey Builder, Email Studio, and Datorama; working knowledge of AMPscript and SQL is preferred

  • Experienced in enterprise-level SFMC implementation, automation, and journey building to support omni-channel marketing strategies

  • Proven track record of utilizing data analytics to identify performance trends and define business opportunities

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills to work effectively and cross-functionally in a team and project-based environment

  • Highly motivated, strategic thinker with ability to own and lead project initiatives

  • Ability to work in an agile organization and dynamic market while adjusting priorities as neede
