About This Job

Commerce Bank is seeking a high-energy and experienced candidate to drive the roadmap and innovation for the Salesforce post sales and servicing platform, supporting our Commercial Segment. A successful candidate will work closely with the Commercial lines of business and support functions to ensure the platform meets the current and future needs of our internal and external customers. As a Team Lead, Salesforce Functional Consultation you will be expected to execute the following job functions:

Essential Functions

  • Work with Commercial Segment and CRM Leadership to develop a roadmap for the post sales and servicing functions of the Salesforce platform

  • Facilitate strategy and visioning workshops and lead Scrum/Agile teams through product delivery

  • Collaborate across business lines to uncover best practices and capitalize on post sales and service model synergies that impact efficiency and drive revenue growth

  • Work with the business to prioritize the backlog, ensuring it is aligned with business goals and the program charter

  • Lead a team of functional consultants and coach others, recognize their strengths, and encourage them to take ownership of their personal development

  • Responsible for business, data, reporting, and testing requirements gathering; workflow analysis, user stories, and acceptance criteria

  • In coordination with CRM Leadership, maintains collaborative relationships with external vendors to achieve project goals

  • Identify areas to innovate on the post sales and servicing platform

  • Develop test scenarios for user acceptance testing along with assigned functional consultants

  • Gather, create and document current and future business process flows

  • Perform functional testing and oversee user acceptance

  • Product Owner sign off ensuring user stories have been completed to the required standard

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Understands Agile development and project management. Ability to manage projects by developing work plans, obtaining approvals, and communicating with stakeholders

  • Advises and influences stakeholders at all levels of the organization to achieve strategic objectives

  • Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Uses data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making. Ability to synthesize inputs gathered from multiple sources and stakeholders into a cohesive vision

  • Able to articulate clearly and concisely when interfacing with Executive Management, Internal Customers, Sales, IT and Operations as well as other Bank partners and Third-Party Vendors

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field

  • 5+ years Salesforce Experience

  • 3+ years of managing and leading a team

  • Experience with Sales and Service Cloud

  • Certified: Salesforce Administrator plus Sales or Service Consultant or ability to obtain within one year

  • Advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Office
