Seeking Salesforce Engineering Manager who is passionate about delivering great solutions and enthusiastic about the Salesforce platform. As engineering manager, you'll be leading one or more teams of highly skilled software engineers providing leadership and technical guidance to the team(s) and aim for continuous improvement in team execution and quality of the output, while maintaining a focus on quality, budget, and customer satisfaction.


  • Assume overall responsibility for the management of the Salesforce engineering team and assigned projects.
  • Manage financial aspects, scope, and critical path activities of assigned projects, ensuring they are completed within budget and on schedule.
  • Provide both hands-on contributions and oversee the development, testing, and deployment of technical solutions.
  • Offer technical guidance to ensure the optimal execution and implementation of maintenance and enhancement work for supported applications.

  • Manage team time and availability to ensure timely project delivery within budget constraints.
  • Monitor and allocate resources effectively in alignment with project plans and budgets.
  • Partner with salesforce experts to stay informed about current technical standards and direction.
  • Resolve project-related and operational issues impacting IT or business stakeholders.
  • Define service levels, service agreements, and oversee IT operations.

  • Establish processes to identify, track, escalate, resolve, and report customer-related issues.
  • Collaborate with Production/Operations teams to address production issues.
  • Collaborate with customers to define standards and measures for quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and capital equipment reports.
  • Recommend process and quality improvement activities for the organization.

  • Act as an internal consultant, advocate, mentor, and change agent within the team.
  • Provide vision and strategy for continuous improvements in Salesforce engineering processes.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks or issues.
  • Implement strategies to minimize their impact on projects and control deviations from schedules and estimated costs.
  • Lead and direct cross-functional teams in areas such as scheduling, technology direction, future planning, and standard development practices.

  • Ensure timely delivery of schedule milestones to meet project/program objectives.
  • Assume responsibility for personnel decisions, including performance reviews, hiring, and firing activities.
  • Mentor team members on career development and performance improvement.
  • Manage and mentor supervisors, project leads, and technical staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to contribute to the success of the Salesforce engineering team and the organization as a whole.


  • Four (4) year degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience as an application developer, preferably Salesforce.

  • Minimum 3 years experience in team management overseeing diverse application development teams.
  • Salesforce knowledge of administration, declarative and imperative programming, preferably certified.


  • Advanced knowledge of Software Development lifecycle.
  • Experience in Agile, SAFE Agile experience preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to understand business use cases with senior leadership and translate that into solutions on the application side.
  • Proven project management skills and experience functional understanding of general financial principles.
  • Leverages business and technical expertise across disciplines, demonstrating a high level of industry knowledge.

  • Contributes to the strategic direction of the company.
  • Ability to succinctly provide guidance to senior management.

Compensation and benefits statement:

The salary range for this role is $83,726-$167,452 and is based on experience and qualifications.

Certain roles are eligible for annual bonus and may include equity. These awards are allocated based on company and individual performance.

We offer employees access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and paid time off among others. Employees accrue up to 120 hours in their first year. Your accrual rate increases after your first year. We also offer 6 paid holidays.
