The EOHS team has an overall responsibility to care for all UHG employees. With an integrated, comprehensive view of each patient and intuitive, configurable workflow designs, the application allows care coordinators to: 

  • Identify and prioritize referrals 
  • Build safety and health protocols and associated workflow
  • Assess and address patient needs 
  • Create and manage personalized, patient-centric care plans 
  • Create cases, manage accounts and contacts with those cases against all integrated and non-integrated entities of UHG
  • Engage and collaborate with the patient and all members of a patient's care team to help all constituents navigate the health system

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for driving operational excellence by implementing strategies for continuous
  • delivery of Salesforce and any dependent software on the cloud
  • Operate, support and improve our tools for continuous integration, automated testing
  • and release management
  • Drive increased efficiency across our scrum teams, eliminating duplication, leveraging
  • product and technology reuse
  • Document and advocate adoption of our continuous delivery / continuous integration
  • processes and tools (Selenium, Maven, Jenkins)
  • Understand the principals of building managed packages for AppExchange and be familiar with the security requirements and guidelines 
  • Follow modern Dev-Ops process using Git and Continuous Integration tools
  • Continue to develop and improve our monitoring and dashboards for the Salesforce
  • platform
  • Manage incidents and outages within the Salesforce platform and handle production
  • support in general
  • Coordinate with Salesforce support to enable features and resolve sandbox/production
  • issues
  • Build integrations to interact with external systems based on instructions and pre-established guidelines from a Technical Architect

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree 
  • 8+ years of experience developing solutions in Salesforce 
  • 4+ years of professional experience in a DevOps, Systems Administration 
  • Experience in working with Service Cloud and Health cloud
  • Experienced in integrating applications with Salesforce 
  • Experience with Salesforce lightning cloud, force.com workflows, lightning flows and process builder
  • Working knowledge of code maintenance and versioning using GitHub or similar 
  • If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. When in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are required to wear a mask in common areas. In addition, employees must comply with any state and local masking orders

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with Salesforce platform production deployments
  • Experience working with Agile / Scrum methodology
  • Experience in Salesforce marketing cloud
  • Experience working with: container technology such as Docker and/or Vagrant, version control systems (Subversion, SVN, git, github, etc), monitoring tools (Splunk, NewRelic, Grafana / Prometheus etc)
  • REST APIs, JSON, and SOAP XML
  • Certifications in Salesforce such as Salesforce administrator,  Salesforce Developer / Advance Developer certified
