VXForward has a great opportunity for a Salesforce DevOps Engineer - 100% Remote with one of our clients.

Roles and Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in deploying Salesforce metadata, implementing the package development model, and building CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce applications. This role involves a high level of collaboration across various teams to ensure the seamless deployment and integration of Salesforce applications across multiple orgs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain Salesforce applications using the package-based development model.
• Design, build, and manage CI/CD pipelines for approximately 50 Salesforce applications across 3 Salesforce orgs.
• Work closely with project teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure best practices in Salesforce development and deployment.
• Provide technical leadership in Salesforce development projects, ensuring adherence to coding standards and development methodologies.
• Collaborate with QA teams to implement testing frameworks and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Manage Salesforce environments, including sandbox management and deployment strategies.
• Assist in the integration of Salesforce with other systems and applications within the organization.
• Keep abreast of new Salesforce features and functionalities, applying them to improve development processes.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in deploying Salesforce metadata.
• At least 1 year of experience implementing the package development model in Salesforce.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce development best practices, design patterns, and deployment strategies.

Required Certifications:

• Salesforce Platform Developer II (PD II) Certification.
• Salesforce Certified Development Lifecycle and Deployment Architect.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Salesforce DX, CumulusCI, Git Actions, and other relevant tools for building pipeline automation is a plus, but not required.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
