Description:
This position will help maintain and drive enhancements to our Salesforce platform. The candidate must have hands-on development, administration and configuration skills with the latest Salesforce releases, and the ability to handle first-level user support/training requests. They must have a sales and service-oriented mindset and a passion for learning, working with, and evangelizing the Salesforce platform.
A Typical Day Might Include the Following:
- Scrum Master for the Salesforce Development team.
- Maintain the project queue in Salesforce and streamline product go-to-market process within Salesforce.
- Review code commitments and perform development reviews to ensure best practices are followed.
- Review test cases and QA documentation.
- Work with Product Management and business stakeholders for product related projects, processes (such as: Product Launch, Product Escalation, Enhancement Requests, Beta Program, Pricing Analysis, product-focused systems administration, and End of Life).
- Help drive end-user adoption of Salesforce through documentation, support and training of new and current employees.
- Establish and maintain data quality through daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting.
- Provide first-level support to the sales, marketing, service, finance, and operations teams, including issue identification and issue resolution/escalation.
- Manage the design and implementation of advanced functionality such as Apex, Lightning Components and Visualforce, based on project roadmap and strategic initiatives.
- Evaluate and implement third party solutions and app exchange packages based on project need or business request.
- Identify and evaluate new features and functionality related to the Winter, Spring, and Summer release management schedule provided by Salesforce.
- Completes all responsibilities as outlined on annual & quarterly goals.
- Completes all special projects and other duties as assigned.
Required Education, Experience, and Specific Job-Related Skills
Education Requirement:
- Bachelor's Degree from 4 Year accredited College/University, or equivalent experience.
Experience Requirement:
- 4+ years of experience in Salesforce Development
- Salesforce Administrator Certification
Experience Preferred:
- Demonstrated proficiency in user security, profile and role management, custom objects, workflow and validation rules, email templates, formulas, dashboards & reporting.
- Must be experienced Microsoft Office applications, including MS Word, Excel, Visio and Power Point.
- Must be detailed oriented and have strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Salesforce CPQ experience.
- Able to meet deadlines, communicate delays, clarify ambiguous situations.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and pick up new skill sets quickly.
