The Opportunity:

The Associate Salesforce Developer provides internally developed and third-party software solutions primarily in the Salesforce platform to meet our needs. You will be responsible for technical aspects of assigned projects, including planning and resolving issues.

The Associate Salesforce Developer will work with guidance to convert business requirements to Technical Design Specs to design/develop code for enterprise-wide and other projects. All development work will follow the Agile/Scrum method, including participation in a daily Scrum call, Sprint Planning and Sprint Retrospectives. You will report to an Application Development Team Lead.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Responsible for technical development of software from inception through user acceptance, including projects which affect multiple departments
  • Design steps and modules, defines timelines, identifies and resolves issues
  • Provide solutions using configuration and custom code in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Financial Service Cloud
  • Develop solutions, primarily in Salesforce.com using either Lightning Component Development or Classic UI, Apex, Visualforce Pages, Salesforce Workflow, Triggers, Process Builders, SOQL, SOSL and Force.com API
  • Promote solutions across environments in the Salesforce platform using Changesets and CI/CD tools such as Copado
  • Integrate Salesforce with other 3rd party commercial platforms or custom applications
  • Load and migrating data into and out of Salesforce through backend processes and using tools such as Data Loader or Bulk API
  • Present options and manages client expectations
  • Create logic flow charts and process diagrams
  • Create and modify code to meet specifications and tests and debugs work
  • Support production software operations during normal business and perform off-hours production support
  • Troubleshoot and resolve client issues. May be responsible for client support to an entire business unit
  • Research external software solutions

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, MIS, computer science, math, or other science field required
  • Minimum 03-year experience working with object-oriented programming languages (OOP) and relational databases and applying it in various applications
  • Minimum 03-year experience working with data, including loading data through backend processes and using SQL
  • Minimum 03-year experience as a Salesforce Developer, using Lightning Component Development, Apex, Visualforce Pages, Salesforce Workflow, Triggers, Process Builders, SOQL, SOSL and Force.com API
  • Strong collaboration skills to work with co-workers and internal clients
  • Plan autonomously or with others and resolve technical and other problems
  • Willingness to continue professional development

Compensation:

  • $65,000-$85,000 base salary per year in the state of WA - New hires should expect to start at the lower end of the range depending on experience
  • Eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance
