Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Salesforce Developer to be part of a team that supports application development and maintenance clients' engagements and corporate endeavors. The Salesforce Developer will work closely with the project team to create and maintain websites and applications both for the public and internal sites for companies. Support includes evaluating business requirements given by the system end users and business stakeholders, interpreting high-level requirements into design details, and planning concepts using provided information and materials. Activities will include Design, Development, Architecture, Implementation and Support on end-to-end business applications in Salesforce software using a variety of languages, software programs, and technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop customized web solutions within the Salesforce platform to support critical business functions and meet project objectives, client requirements and company goals, following best practices.
• Oversee solutions design and delivery, including integration with existing architecture.
• Creating customer workflows
• Troubleshooting application errors.
• Collaborate with Product owners on translating business requirements and operational strategy into a long-term, executable solution plan and roadmap.
• Experience with estimating and sizing Salesforce business requirements.
• Maintain a flexible and proactive work environment to facilitate a quick response to changing project requirements and customer objectives and innovate ways to meet mission goals successfully.
• Provide system administration support for internal and customer-facing Salesforce environment, especially related to customized applications, user permissions, security settings, custom objects, and workflow.
• Able to contribute hands-on development and support, Proof of Concept and demos as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of web languages including APEX, JAVA, and Python
• Work with IT Leadership to keep solutions in alignment with the future IT roadmap.
• Provide technical guidance to other developers as and when required.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science
• Minimum work experience: eight years of software development and four years of Salesforce application development
• Technical proficiency with the Salesforce platform along with general software development experience
• Proficient with Apex, VisualForce, Native, MySQL and JavaScript
• Experience developing customer-facing user interfaces.
• Experience with integrations with external systems.
• Self-motivated and creative
• Knowledge of web coding including HTML and CSS
