SalesForce Developer

Location: Richmond, VA/ McLean, VA/ Remote

Duration: 4-5 months


The Salesforce Developer for the Enterprise Salesforce Operations team will be responsible for helping to better manage and secure the platform across the enterprise.

To be successful in this role, a strong understanding of the an Internet company platform security features and APIs is a must.

The candidate should have demonstrated ability to develop new feature requests, measure the impact of feature enablement, implement and maintain API integrations.

Experience with implementing encryption, addressing risk and security gaps on the Salesforce core platform is a huge plus.


Build an Internet company application extensions using Apex, Visualforce and Lightning

Support development and testing of new features

Participate in project planning sessions with stakeholders to analyze business and technology requirements and outline proposed solutions

Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests

Work with various teams across the organization to implement new capabilities within the an Internet company platform

Participate in the full application life cycle from technical design to development, testing, and deployment

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree

Salesforce Certified Developer certification

At least 3 years of experience with Salesforce Development

Exposure to SOAP and REST based web services, SQL, Apex, Visualforce, XML, JavaScript, HTML and CSS

Familiarity with identity management, Single-Sign-on, SAML, and OAuth concepts

Familiarity with Sales, Service, Marketing and Analytics Cloud

Familiarity with the Salesforce REST, Tooling and Metadata APIs

Familiarity with agile development methodology and tools

Preferred Qualifications:

Industry-recognized certifications in security, risk management, and/or governance (i.e. CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT, SANS GIAC) are a plus

2+ years experience in an Agile and DevOps environment.

2+ years experience in a financial institution or a technology company

2+ years of experience testing software applications

Role Info:

Hands on Sr. Salesforce Developer role with strong Salesforce development, API integration, Apex & Lightening background

Integrate Salesforce with Case management system

Building the API integration bridges, push into the SQL databases.

Helping to bridge the gaps between Salesforce and other ominous opensource systems

Work with different tech teams on Case management

Top Skills:

3+ yrs Salesforce development exp is a must

API integration exp is a must

Exp working with the ability to bridge the gap between salesforce and other platforms is required

AWS knowledge is required

Nice to have:

SFDC developer certification

Exp working with compliance platform within the Salesforce is highly preferred

Soft Skills:

Excellent communications

Salesforce platform- Sales Cloud, ServceCloud preferred with Apex experience.
