Job Summary

The Salesforce Developer (CCSD) is a full-time position that reports to the AD, Platform Engineering, responsible for developing across the Salesforce ecosystem. The ideal candidate will leverage their analysis, design, coding, and collaboration skills to create both in-house and customer-facing applications on the Salesforce platform and has hands on knowledge of programmatic and declarative development, utilizing agile methodologies. The CCSD must be able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, own deliverables from end to end, prioritize workload effectively, and thrive in a dynamic environment. They are passionate about their work, self-motivated, detail oriented and have strong problem-solving skills.

• Demonstrate the mission, vision, values, and culture principles of BC Worldwide
• Develop customized solutions per requirements utilizing the full range of tools available on the Salesforce platform, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and SFDX
• Transform business requirements into technical solution(s)
• Collaborate with others to identify potential project-related risk, works with team members to identify solutions, and mitigate risks
• Support Salesforce Admin and Configuration team with more advanced technical requests; collaborates on project-specific and core-platform enhancements
• Process sensitive and protected information with a security-first mentality and in compliance with regulations, laws, and the organization’s policies
• Contribute to departmental process development
• Stay current on industry trends, particularly those related to Salesforce and related technologies
• Comply with all corporate and departmental standard operating procedures as well as FDA and other governmental regulations (e.g., IRB, EC)
• Ensure all activities and operations are performed in compliance with regulatory and federal regulations
• Responsible for maintaining up to date weekly time tracking, per the Agency’s time tracking policy
• Flexible hours may be required to accommodate global clients
• Must be able to travel occasionally overnight and on weekends

Education, Experience, and Certifications
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university; degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related field, preferred. Experience or coursework in lieu of a degree will be considered.
• 1 to 2 years of hands-on developer experience on the Salesforce platform (Apex, Visualforce, Lighting Web Components, and SOQL)
• Experience automating business processes using Salesforce automation tools, such as Process Builder, Workflows, Formulas, Flow, Assignment Results, and Email Alerts
• Developer-level knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Familiarity with the latest Cloud, container, and database technologies
• Proficient using Salesforce Data Loader. SFDX
• Experience with JIRA or similar project-and-issue management tool and Agile development methodology
• Preferred Experience:

o General understanding of business intelligence tools such as Salesforce Einstein Analytics, Tableau, Power BI, or Cognos

o Experience with data warehousing and relational databases

o Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification
