THE OPPORTUNITY

The Salesforce Business Analyst will collaborate with and provide guidance to the Business and Product Owners.  Responsibilities include collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and reporting data/insights to support the requirements for the CRM Team.  The person in this role will work with Product Managers, Business Stakeholders, Salesforce Admins, and Technical Delivery Teams in tailoring solutions that meets business needs using agile and iterative development processes.  The successful candidate will be working and thriving in an agile environment, be supported in speaking up to share ideas, and will be empowered to drive Business and Customer improvements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned:

  • Write requirement statements that are complete, consistent, concise, accurate, and traceable
  • Document current system functions and limitations
  • Lead and actively participate in the creation of user stories, use cases, and requirements documents to clearly define solutions that address specific business objectives
  • Assist Technical and Architecture resources to design feasible solutions leveraging current assets as appropriate and consistent with the broader enterprise direction
  • Actively participate in discussions and design sessions regarding platform, data, user access, and systems integration requirements
  • Ensure that defined solutions include, and address items needed to successfully implement, operationalize, and support those solutions in a fast-paced production environment
  • Partner with Technical Teams, Quality Management, and Business to verify solutions solve the business need and function as intended
  • Interact with Management to determine System requirements
  • Experience in design and develop software systems/applications
  • Engage in Implementation of software systems applications
  • Work with Business Product Owners, Salesforce Product Managers, Scrum Masters, and Project Managers to maintain the backlog of features and epics

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 3 years Business Analyst experience required
  • Minimum of 2 years, in Salesforce Sales/Service/Community Clouds preferred
  • Experience in requirements gathering tools, processes, and procedures
  • Proficiency in producing data flow and business process diagrams as an output of team discussions
  • Experience with SOQL, SQL, and JQL desired
  • Familiarity with Agile project methodology with ability to learn/adapt to new methodologies quickly
  • Ability to complete assigned tasks independently under minimal direction
  • Solid interpersonal skills: ability to effectively present information and respond to questions across all levels of the organization; and cultivate relationships with internal and external customers to achieve business objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results on time and produce high quality deliverables (accuracy and thoroughness)
  • Proficient with Jira and Confluence
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent projects
  • Self-motivated and ability to apply good judgment and decision-making skills

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent experience
  • Salesforce experience preferred
  • Salesforce Certifications a plus

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This position will not be responsible for managing a team or direct reports.
