As an Associate, Candidate will work within the Investment Management (MSIM) Sales Technology team which drives development and maintenance of the Sales and Distribution technology platform. The Sales Platform is a distributed system with several integrated components, providing customized CRM functionality, data/process integration with firm-systems, business intelligence through reporting and analytics, and data-driven marketing and lead generation. Candidate will provide subject-matter expertise on a variety of functions within the Sales domain. Candidate will interpret business needs and make recommendations into specific system designs, document solutions for review by users, and present to management for implementation by developers. Candidate will also maintain detailed knowledge of business processes and application functionality. In addition, Candidate will serve as the go-to resource for the project. Further, Candidate will understand the current technology applications used to support business functions and how current systems store data and apply business rules to support the business. Candidate will also understand Sales/CRM data, including interrelationships across various datasets, and provide analysis and/or conclusive findings. Candidate will also communicate to management and senior project managers the project status and highlight any roadblocks and key performance indicators.

Job duties:

* Candidate will ensure that Salesforce CRM / Client Data platform is optimally meeting the needs of stakeholder's firm-wide, as the platform's capabilities expand and evolve.

* Support over 700+ users across different geographical locations across the globe, Candidate will be technical escalation point for issues and problems within the Salesforce CRM application.

* As the Salesforce platform rapidly evolves, Candidate will foster strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales, distribution, marketing, IT, client services, as well as external partners, to drive technology adoption and efficiency gains through the use of the platform.

* They will configure and maintain the Salesforce platform to ensure delivery of high-quality solutions to meet business needs and will proactively identify new and creative opportunities to leverage the platform to support additional business processes or functions, and increase return on the Salesforce investment.

* Conduct Formal meetings, Conference Calls, Live meetings, Walkthroughs sessions with cross functional Business Users and Business Analysts to understand and document current state of an application.

* Detailed analysis of existing CRM and Reporting application and Data provided by users to develop functional specifications, Identification and Documentation of existing problem areas.

* Work with development team to design and develop integrations between (SFDC) and other inhouse applications/systems such as IMDW, EDG, Tableau, DST, and additional custom applications.

* Write Jira Stories in detail, walk through the Jira Stories with key stakeholders, confirm that Business users, Development and QA team have a shared understanding of requirements.

* Effectively work among key stakeholders to build consensus on requirements prioritization to ensure analysis and implementation is focused on the most critical requirements.

* Create prototype of proposed technical solution and demonstrate (Proof of Concept) future state to key stakeholder.

* Plan & review test case's written by QA team and ensure that issues are identified, tracked, reported on, and resolved in a timely manner.

* Communicate and manage business users' expectations from the beginning to the end of the effort & keep all stakeholders engaged, responsive and proactive in working toward deliverable goals and objectives.

* Manage changes to requirements, accurately baseline the requirements and consistently obtain timely stakeholder sign-off on requirements.

* Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using project management tools.

* Develop and deliver project progress reports, proposals, and presentations to senior manager and highlight roadblocks if any.

* Coordinate with business users for UAT, training material and rollout strategy of product.

* Manage production support team that works on resolving issues (warranty or post production)

* Create service now ticket for production issues, monitor service now ticket tracker and raise concerns if any

* Train business users on the sales and distribution technology applications

Required Skills & Experience

* Minimum 5 years' experience in Business / Systems Analysis

* Minimum 2 years' experience working on Salesforce CRM in Financial Industry

* Experience in writing SQL queries

* Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools.

* A degree in IT / Computer Science

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills.

* Salesforce admin certification is desirable but not mandatory.
