The Senior Salesforce Business Analyst (BA) is responsible for helping with successful delivery of projects by developing trust and respect through collaboration with business stakeholders, project team members and peers. The BA will help identify the data, workflows, processes, vulnerabilities and improvements needed. The BA will leverage technological best practices to facilitate designing technology solutions to deliver the business objectives. Additionally, the BA will:

• Participate in team meetings driving team discussion through asking thoughtful leading questions to help elicit requirements. In addition to asking leading questions to elicit requirements, the BA should listen to the business stakeholders to ensure that understand what is being communicated.
• Collaborate with the Business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to define and document requirements for data, workflow and processes in a clear concise manner so that anyone reviewing the requirements understands them.
• Develop detailed User Stories outlining the work that the end user is performing so that detailed test scripts may be developed to test and validate the development effort during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Develop high-level and detailed process maps depicting the current state processing environment, completed process analysis to define automations and efficiencies to be achieved, and developing the future state processing environment incorporating the automations and efficiencies to be achieved and the approach for achieving them.
• Assist the Product Owner in defining value and completing backlog grooming in support of future releases.
• Demonstrate knowledge of technology-related techniques, best practices, and tools
• Work with Technical Teams on System/Technical Requirements and User Interface/Application Functionality needs

Qualifications and Education Requirements

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications, characteristics, and experiences:

• A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline is required.
• Three to five years related work experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst or Systems Analyst.
• Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, and verification, and validation supporting a Salesforce implementation.
• Proven experience with documenting business workflows, data and process automation.
• Proven experience working with a variety of technology platforms and systems.
• Ability to leverage Industry Best Practices to support user interface design work, modeling of workflows and processes and use of technology to support the business needs/requirements associated with a Salesforce implementation.
• Demonstrated business analyst skills and business analysis software skills, including planning, organizing, and managing their project deliverables.
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of Windows office systems to include MS Project
• Prior experience with a state agency is a plus.
• Able to exercise independent judgment and act on it when warranted.
• Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail.
• Highly self-motivated and directed.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment supporting a large, complex Salesforce implementation.
• Over 9 years of industry experience working as a Business Analyst with 3-5 years' experience working with Salesforce in a BA role.

• Ability to participate in, and contribute to, the QA of developed / configured solutions to ensure features and functions have been enabled and optimized to meet key stakeholder requirements

• Ability to develop and utilize standard templates to accurately and concisely write technical requirement specifications

• Ability to creates process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team as well as key external stakeholders

• Ability to communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements verbally or through written documentation to product owners, project managers, sponsors, and other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood.
