Scope of Work:
Capio Group is looking for a Salesforce Business Analyst to work as part of the team to provide implementation services for the client's system:
- Develop the client's Salesforce Architecture based on the client's Enterprise Architecture Common Business Processes, Master Data Management, client's Business Needs, Functional and Non-Functional Requirements, and Interfaces with external client's program partners.
- Provide the ability to make changes to one business area/application without causing side-effects to other business areas.
- Ensure the information/data entered into the system is complete and consistent by implementing and enforcing business rules when any information is captured.
- Place tighter controls on changes to all information and data within the system through the establishment of a data governance process that approves all changes to the systems' data.
- Provide a standardized set of interfaces implemented through a common interface subsystem, where information can be transmitted to external entities, and the interface can be quickly tailored to individual stakeholder needs.
- Ensure all information is tightly related and all changes to the information are traceable to who made the change, when the change was made, and what change was made.
- Provide the business with the capability to track a case from initiation through completion that allows the review of related current and historical data from all programs within the client.
- Provide management with management reporting capabilities to review staff workload, performance, and activities.
- Provide management with the ability to perform trend analysis on activities and active results to identify high-risk areas where actions, such as increased inspections, could be performed to minimize risks to animal health and food safety.
- Allow all public program applicants to submit applications and payment through an online service.
- Allow applicants and business owners to review their data, inspection results, actions underway, etc. online.
The Salesforce Business Analyst's primary duties is to translate what the client's business needs and how to get this accomplished within the Salesforce solution by asking why and how the client's stakeholders do their key business processes. In addition, the role of a Salesforce Business Analyst is to gather and/or confirm business needs to prepare User stories, produce "to-be" process maps, and document detailed reasons why something was implemented. Other key activities that this role performs are a gap analysis, preparing user acceptance test plans, and participating in stakeholder communication.
Mandatory Experience:
- Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Business Management from an accredited college or university. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis. A copy of the diploma must be provided upon request.
*Four (4) years of experience can be substituted for a bachelor's degree. The substituted experience must be in addition to the required years of experience. Example: If the experience requirement is five (5) years, and the individual is substituting four (4) years of experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree, a total of nine (9) years must be submitted to claim this qualification
**For degree qualifications, if the degree is not in English, it must be accompanied by a translation performed by a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES). - Within the last 7 years, must have a minimum of three (3) years of full-time equivalent (FTE) experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst on a Salesforce implementation project.
- A minimum of one (1) year of FTE experience as a Business Solutions Analyst on a Salesforce Public Sector - Government implementation project.
- A minimum of five (5) years of FTE experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst for a Salesforce SaaS implementation, a project budget of at least $10 million, and a project duration of at least two (2) years in Calif. State Government.
- Must have certification as a Salesforce Business Analyst. A copy of the certificate must be provided upon request.
- Must be able to provide two (2) references for similar services within the last five (5) years. At least one (1) reference must be from experience used to meet Minimum Qualifications and cannot use the same reference more than once.
Desirable Experience :
- Must be certified by the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) as a Certified Business Analyst (CBAP). A copy of the active certificate must be provided upon request.
- Within the last ten (10) years, a minimum of one (1) year (up to 5 years) of FTE experience implementing Salesforce. The Salesforce application system must be for a state, county or city government with a population greater than 1,000,000 people.
- Within the last ten (10) years, a minimum of one (1) year (up to 5 years) of FTE experience implementing Salesforce Public Sector Solutions.
- Within the last ten (10) years, a minimum of one (1) year (up to 5 years) of FTE experience of State of CA Technology Implementation project experience.
- Within the last ten (10) years, a minimum of one (1) year (up to 5 years) of FTE experience implementing other State & Local Government projects.
