TITLE: Salesforce Business Analyst

DEPARTMENT: Marketing

CLASSIFICATION: Full-time Regular

DESCRIPTION:

Under the direction of the Director of Membership and Business Systems, the Salesforce Business Analyst is responsible for providing system planning, setup, and support summarized as –data imports and exports, dashboard design and implementation, and report and workflow development. The Salesforce Business Analyst must also perform project management oversight for all future Salesforce initiatives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Collaborate with various business stakeholders to identify business requirements, evaluate change requests, and design and implement system enhancements.
  • Create reports and dashboards for business stakeholders. Develop workflows for business processes.
  • Establish and monitor system security controls on data based on best practice principles, in collaboration with Information Technology staff.
  • Recommend and configure third party application integrations, such as point of sale, email marketing, and fundraising, and establish future integrations, in collaboration with Information Technology staff.
  • Develop and define Salesforce project roadmaps.
  • Prepare detailed, accurate, and timely training and support documentation, including handling ticket requests and project work plans.
  • Provide a high level of customer service to coordinate and provide technical assistance to resolve Salesforce and related system data issues.
  • Leading and executing the Salesforce upgrade cycle including testing, scheduling and communication.
  • Developing test plans, executing test cases, and ensuring that solutions meet requirements and quality standards.
  • Assist with annual budget plan and control spending within the approved budget.
  • Provide on call / off-hours support.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce required; Knowledge of Structured Query Language, Microsoft SQL Databases and Point of Sale ticketing and or similar solutions strongly preferred.
  • Salesforce Administrator certificate, with a minimum two years related experience required; Salesforce Business Analyst certificate preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Salesforce Non Profit Success Pack and Sales Cloud / CRM products necessary.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of data management skills, including writing queries, generating reports and creating dashboards.
  • Superb customer service skills including the ability to develop and sustain effective working relationships across the organization. Ability to work effectively with diverse personalities in tactful, mature and flexible ways.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including ability to maintain accurate records and to respond in a service-oriented manner to employee requests.
  • Experience establishing and managing multiple priorities within established time frames. Ability to initiate, coordinate and organize projects and tasks through to completion; accurately, within budget and on time.

PHYSICAL AND MEDICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Successful completion of a post-offer drug test and TB test prior to starting to work.
  • Negative annual TB test required for access to specific zoo buildings.
  • Covid19 booster shot required.
  • No allergies related to plants or animals that may interfere with the ability to work.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Hybrid - Monday through Friday work schedule
  • Operating conditions may require working extended hours, additional workdays, including weekends, and or more than 40 hours.
  • Satisfactory completion of a criminal background check.
