JOB LOCATION: Everett, MA- Hybrid-2 days a week
WAGE RANGE*: 75-80/hr. (37.5 hours per week)

  1. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  2. Proven record of accomplishment working on large-scale projects with diverse stakeholders and with cross-functional teams.
  3. Minimum 8 years of broad Information Technology experience including:
    1. Minimum Salesforce certification: Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, Platform App Builder
  4. Minimum of 4 years' experience in documenting and writing functional solution designs and creating detailed technical designs for
  5. Minimum of 4 years' experience in creating technical designs, involving configuration setup and coding in APEX. Experienced in developing UI pages using the LWC framework.
  6. Strong knowledge of functional and technical best practices and methodologies for sales and service cloud. Einstein Analytics is considered an advantage.
  7. Minimum of 6 years' experience in SQL.
  8. Experience in designing and implementing a test data management strategy. Experience in data analysis, data verification, and problem-solving abilities. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  9. Experience with Salesforce API integration for applications residing on various platforms. Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Middleware, and other integration tools.
  10. ADM 201 and DEV 401 certifications
  11. Experience with accessibility laws and WCAG 2.1 compliance.


The Executive Office of Education (EOE) is seeking a Salesforce Architect to join our new Salesforce Center of Excellence, a team that will be dedicated to maintaining and supporting Salesforce applications for EOE. The candidate will serve as a source of expertise for Salesforce within EOE and with external vendors.
This person will be responsible for developing new code and supporting existing code hosted across the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education ( DESE ) and the Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) Salesforce applications. This position will work with stakeholders and peers to design, develop and support Salesforce and related applications using industry standard practices and tools.
EOE IT follows a lean/agile development methodology. The ideal candidate should be able to work in all tiers of the architecture and have experience with the Salesforce platform and integrations with external systems, as well as experience with transformation from Salesforce Classic to Lightning. You'll be acting as a trusted advisor to our team and clients, and an effective mentor for other Salesforce professionals working alongside you. You will need a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform but just as importantly, top-notch people skills to get your ideas and solutions across to stakeholders and gain integrity to get your visions built into successful solutions.
