Opportunity: One of our Waste Management clients based out in Houston, TX is looking for a "Salesforce Architect" for a 12 month contract opportunity.

Job Summary:

The Salesforce Architect will lead the technical design, development, and code review for CRM and Marketing Cloud applications. Responsibilities include active participation in design sessions, providing technical and people leadership, leading solution components, developing unit tests, guiding testing strategy, and ensuring quality throughout the development lifecycle. The role involves collaborating with the leadership team to balance business needs with the best technical solutions. Key duties encompass ownership of technical aspects in Salesforce Enterprise Service Cloud implementation, thought leadership, researching solutions, managing integrations, providing a vision for the CRM platform, and identifying skills for technical projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Technical Solution Lead for CRM Platform:

• Ownership of technical aspects in Salesforce Enterprise Service Cloud.

• Provide thought leadership in technical areas.

• Research solutions and propose ways to address business requests.

• Manage and recommend changes to Salesforce integrations.

• Collaborate to provide a vision for the CRM platform and identify gaps in processes.

Technical and Solution Architecture:

• Accountable for converting product requirements into architecture and design.

• Lead conceptual and technical solution design for feature improvements.

• Ensure compliance with established architectural principles, standards, and processes.

Salesforce Development and Reporting:

• Develop end-to-end Salesforce solutions using Configuration and Customization.

• Perform hands-on configuration and development.

• Resolve technical issues.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• May coach and mentor less-experienced analysts and act as a team leader on systems projects.


• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or similar area, or High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of relevant work experience.

• Experience: Eight years of relevant work experience.

• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: N/A

Other Requirements:

• Intermediate knowledge or skills in areas such as communication, architecture and design frameworks, development methodology, UML design artifacts, project management, vendor interactions, conflict resolution, prototyping, and implementation methods.

Other Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities:

• Proficient in Lightning Platform and capabilities.

• In-depth understanding of Salesforce programming, including APEX,, and Visualforce.

• Experience with Salesforce integrations

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to learn quickly, work positively in a team, and excel in a dynamic environment.

• Ability to communicate complex technical issues and solutions clearly.

• Strong knowledge of, workflows, triggers, reporting, and design concepts.

• Experience with Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Heroku, and Einstein Analytics preferred.

• Experience with Release Management, Source Control, and Deployment concepts and technologies
