Role Summary

MetaPhase Consulting seeks a Salesforce Application Architect with at least five years of experience designing, coding, and implementing scalable software and applications that meet company needs. The Architect will play a pivotal role in advising the client on strategic solutions on the Salesforce platform and ensure the successful delivery of scalable, efficient, and robust applications. You will analyze and develop an architectural strategy to align with business interests and an IT game plan. You will also be a part of the growing Digital Services Practice and will contribute to the expansion of Salesforce capabilities with our Clients and throughout the organization.

What You Will Be Doing

• Collaborate with various stakeholders, including business leaders, developers, administrators, and other architects, to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Salesforce solutions.
• Review new solution concepts that are introduced at Center of Excellence (COE) meetings.
• Present high-level requirements and analysis conducted (Project Detail, Fit Gap Analysis) to make platform decisions to the COE.
• Conduct design reviews in order for an application or set of requirements to proceed to a development sprint.
• Proactively implement improvements with design patterns and automated, repeatable processes.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce releases and best practices to continuously improve the application's performance and functionality.

What We Need From You (Required)

• 5+ years of experience designing scalable and robust solutions on the Salesforce platform.
• Experience serving as an architect on complex Salesforce integrations and data migration projects.
• In-depth knowledge of Salesforce architecture and proficiency with Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
• Ability to create and manage technical documentation as required.
• Effective collaboration with COE leads for task prioritization, resolving issues and escalations.
• Proficiency with Salesforce application architecture and development.
• Specialization in managing the development lifecycle and deploying Salesforce solutions using best practices.
• Deep understanding of Salesforce applications, data models, and security.
• Enthusiasm for leveraging the latest Salesforce updates and trends to provide innovative solutions and drive continuous improvement.
• Proficiency with using the Microsoft Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.

• Salesforce Developer Experience (SFDX) automation experience

• Mostly remote, with some client meetings in Springfield, VA
• Candidate must reside in the DC Metro area
