ONSITE Salesforce Analyst / Developer with Caterpillar in Nashville, TN

1 Yr. Contract

Work Hours/Time Zone: Candidate must be Eastern or Central time zone.

Up to $62.00/hr. pay

Looking for a developer 3 to join them – 12 month assignment with possible extension

Salesforce development team with IS Team – looking for someone who would be comfortable developing lightening components on salesforce program

Going to be a team, not just project

40% support, 60% enhancement – could vary depending on candidate’s skillset

Looking for someone who has experience in salesforce coding – lightening web components

Security matters – some experience securing an organization in Salesforce

She is requiring a salesforce developer 1 certification & the URL needs to be include on resume – will not review candidate otherwise

Based out of Nashville, TN – relatively local; there will be onsite onboarding – it will be hybrid after that; office once a month – will not be reimbursed for travel

9:00 AM – 3:00 PM CST is an expectational; some off hours work required too -they can get 40 hours in, but have to be logged on during 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM CST

Managing code in team experience

Soft Skills: they will set direction, but it will be independent work so self-starter and good communicator; team communicates daily, agile team

Q&A:

Need to be onsite day 1 for role - 1 time each month in Nashville, they will NOT pay for travel – really needs to be someone close to Nashville

Day to day: monthly meetings on-site that are set month in advance, they have daily stand-ups that are at set time, they do have project meetings as well

Job Description: Summary:

The main function of an specialty analyst/developer is to develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs utilizing software packages considered. A typical specialty analyst/developer is responsible for designing software or customizing software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.

Job Responsibilities:

• Modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance.

• Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.

• Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met.

• Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.

• Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan computer specifications and layouts, and peripheral equipment modifications.

• Obtain and evaluate information on factors such as reporting formats required, costs, and security needs to determine hardware configuration.

• Consult with customers about software system design and maintenance.

• Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.

Skills:

• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.

• Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.

• Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, electronic equipment and computer hardware and software.

• Knowledge of design techniques and principles involved in production of drawings and models.

• Knowledge of niche computer software, such as Oracle, Csharp.net, Lawson, etc.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent training required.

• 5-7 years related experience required.
