Purpose:

Do you have experience with Salesforce or another CRM tool? Do you excel at translating business needs into system changes? Do you want to assist in the day-to-day operations of ARAGs customer relationship management system, Salesforce?

ARAG is hiring a Salesforce Administrator! This person must have excellent customer service skills to take care of the needs of their ARAG colleagues and be very process-minded. Enjoy a flexible schedule, hybrid work environment, casual dress, collaborative culture and beautiful workspace!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages and administers Salesforce by creating and managing:
    • Objects (Standard and Custom)
    • Fields
    • Queues
    • Lists
    • Reports / Dashboards
    • Validation rules
    • Approval processes
    • Assignment rules
  • Analyzes how changes affect the overall system and communicates those to users.
  • Maintains data cleanliness standards by performing de-duping and merging techniques for leads, accounts and contacts using Salesforce.com and Demand Tools.
  • Monitors Salesforce system releases and stays abreast of what is happening within the Salesforce Community and assesses the impact to current operations.
  • Follows and enforces master data management, governance policies, and change management processes.
  • Maintains comprehensive documentation for system requirements, processes, and standards (Salesforce Data Dictionary, Database Schema, Workflow Rules, Validation Rules, etc.).
  • Conducts testing and addresses user issues as they arise. Communicates and answers questions to users.
  • Serves as a positive role model by representing ARAG at its Best.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Knowledge

  • Possesses hands-on experience with Salesforce.com.
  • Knowledge of an average sales cycle.

Skills

  • Ability to translate and present technical knowledge into audience-relatable terms.
  • Willingness to learn and work with new and existing technologies.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues at a functional level.
  • Possesses strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.
  • Ability to effectively partner with associates from a variety of business units.

Education

  • Four-year degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related fields or equivalent experience.

  • 1+ years of related experience
