Salesforce Advanced Admin / Consultant

Reports to: Sr. Solution Architect

Start Date: Immediate

Hours & Pay: Full-Time salaried, negotiable based on experience

Location: Indianapolis, IN area or U.S. Remote (Eastern Time working hours. Our outsourced HR is not setup in California or New York)

Position Summary

The Salesforce Consultant is a key, advanced, and highly technical support role who delivers declarative Salesforce solutions to multiple clients. This individual enables customers to meet their digital business needs through streamlined automation. The part of a team that supports multiple projects concurrently. This position is primarily focused on declarative problem solving but candidates with interest and communication skills can grow into an Architect role and lead client projects as well. This role also has the opportunity to get exposed to Apex and LWC development if there is interest.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a part of a technical project team led by a Salesforce Consultant or Architect
  • Design and solve technical challenges with declarative solutions including advanced Flows, the CLI, and ETLs
  • Implement complex add-ons like Conga, DocuSign, Box
  • Work in multiple clouds including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Field Service, and Experience Cloud
  • Attend client meetings to help gather requirements
  • Estimate time required to complete assigned tasks
  • Assist with scoping and documentation

  • Be a reliable problem solver that enjoys learning how to do new things
  • Create solutions to complex business problems that are scalable and easily transferable to the client
  • Be a Subject Matter Expert on Flow, Data Cleansing, and Integrations

  • Maintain open communication with internal teams
  • Keep current work tasks up to date
  • Enter detailed time logs daily in project management software
  • Deliver work within estimate, client's budget, and timeline goals

Competencies Desired

  • Experience with data cleansing and loading with Data Loader, SFDMU, SF CLI, etc.
  • Remote work experience with a dedicated private workspace is mandatory
  • Experience integrating Salesforce.com with other platforms with any ETL is helpful
  • Expert at building solutions with Flow and understanding how Flow and code can work together
  • Advanced Excel based data cleansing and manipulation of large files is very helpful
  • Comfortable with being on camera for client and team virtual meetings
  • Strong project management and communication skills preferred

Experience & Certifications

  • 5+ years Salesforce configuration experience
  • Salesforce certifications:
    • Required: Admin
    • Preferred: Advanced Admin, App Builder, a "Consultant" cert, Architect certs, Field Service
  • Experience with ETLs such as Celigo, Azure Data Factory, etc.
  • Proficient in Workbench, Dev Console, and using the command line preferred
