We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Salesforce.com Sales Operations Manager to serve as the interface between our Sales and IT departments. In this role, you will be responsible for leveraging your expertise in CRM solutions such as Salesforce.com to manage and optimize our Salesforce.com platform in support of our sales strategies and business goals.

The Sales Operations Manager Salesforce.com will also define efficient approaches to sales operations deliverables, influence and apply best practices across the business, set priorities, and support team members.

This role is located at our Menlo Park, CA office with hybrid (office / home) work arrangements.

You Will

  • Work closely with sales leaders to understand their needs and translate them into Salesforce.com requirements
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the implementation of Salesforce.com features and functions align with sales and business requirements
  • Continuously optimize and streamline processes and workflows to increase sales efficiency and effectiveness
  • Analyze Salesforce.com data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for improvement
  • Monitor and manage data quality to ensure accuracy and completeness of Salesforce.com records
  • Maintain and communicate Salesforce.com roadmap, including upgrades and enhancements, to stakeholders across the organization
  • Stay current with Salesforce.com best practices and industry trends to drive innovation and competitive advantage
  • Partner with Commercial Training and Development to develop and deliver training programs to increase user adoption and proficiency of Salesforce.com
  • Through the use of salesforce.com, collaboratively manage our approach to the sales funnel and pipeline management, campaign delivery, and key account growth
  • Enable the Commercial organization to achieve their objectives
  • Champion and implement changes that will improve how we operate our salesforce.com platform
  • Create transparency and insight using effective salesforce.commetrics, which informs and guides the sales team and business leadership
  • Provide valuable insights into the team, driving strategic reporting & initiatives
  • Represent Sales Operations in planning meetings
  • Work with a broad range of stakeholders across teams to deliver on sales initiatives focused on sales excellence around sales business ownership

Your Background Should Include

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field and 8 or more years of relevant work experience
  • 5 or more years of experience in Salesforce.com administration, configuration, and implementation or similar experience with other CRM platforms
  • Salesforce.com certification(s) (e.g., Certified Administrator, Certified Advanced Administrator, Certified Sales Cloud Consultant, Certified Service Cloud Consultant) preferred
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across departments and levels of the organization
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to make informed decisions
  • Experience in Sales Operations, Commercial Operations, or other sales / commercial operational functions such as Territory Alignment, Targeting, CRM Enhancements preferred
  • Ability to lead and manage large business change programs
  • Critical thinker with the ability to develop innovative solutions with excellent data and analysis skills
  • Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve data quality
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a primary focus on core responsibilities
  • Self-directed problem solver with a desire to contribute to the Company and team's success
  • Experience in supporting large scale system implementations
  • Pharmaceutical/Biotech experience highly preferred
  • Willing to travel when the business requires it (10-15%)

The expected, full-time, annual base pay scale for this position is $123,000 to $154,000. Actual base pay will consider skills, experience, and location.

Based on the role, colleagues may be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan tied to company and individual performance, or an incentive plan. We also offer a long-term incentive plan to align company and colleague success over time.
