As a Salesforce Solutions Architect, you will play an integral role in the high satisfaction of Webster Banks clients through the design and development of scalable, high-quality Salesforce services and solutions. The Solution Architect is responsible for owning the overall design of the technical application and recommending best practice solutions based on client business needs.

Your Responsibilities:

• Participates in and facilitates customer requirements and solution design workshops
• Captures and maps business requirements to system/technical requirements and identifies gaps and risks
• Assess and make recommendations on processes, designs, operations, and testing
• Understands the technical depth of the project and validates the correct resources for the project
• Manages and participates in the entire software development lifecycle
• Recommends alternative approaches, analyzes impacts, and provides sizing estimates
• Leads design and code reviews
• Analyzes and mitigates bugs and issues
• Leads release planning and deployment
• Designs, develops, tests, and documents scalable, high-quality business solutions to be built on the Salesforce platform
• Conducts unit, integration, and performance testing and works closely with users for user acceptance testing
• Supports pre-sales engagements, estimates, and solution design and can articulate what requirements have changed
• Writes technical specifications (for custom development, system integration, etc.) jointly with the developer team
• Documents build plans and delegates work to developers and system administrators
• Works closely with our clients to assess their current architecture and architect solutions that meet their current needs
• Articulates the value of recommended solutions and approach to customer

Your Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or a combination of technical skills and a software development background.
• Experience with Sales and Service Cloud
• Ability to articulate complex system interactions, data flows, integrations, and infrastructure to stakeholders ranging from developers to executives.
• 5+ years of Salesforce implementation experience
• Strong experience leading technical requirements gathering and solution design sessions with clients
• Superior experience identifying and documenting the business process and technical requirements, developing process flow analysis, data modeling, and functional design experience
• Experience writing user stories to capture business requirements
• Experience managing a project team relevant to the delivery of the technical solution
• Strong experience in enterprise-level projects using Agile software development methodologies throughout the whole development lifecycle
• Strong experience designing or building Salesforce integrations with third-party systems
• Experience with data migrations from third-party systems to Salesforce
• Has familiarity and first-hand experience with third-party solutions that support vertical objectives
• Strong Salesforce development and design skills including Apex, Lightning web components, Process Builder, Flow, and other standard and advanced Salesforce automation tools
• Understands aspects of Salesforce current and future release functionality including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Communities
• Experience analyzing and mitigating bugs and issues as needed to support a successful project outcome

Bonus Ingredients:

• Salesforce Application Architect or/and System Architect Certifications
• Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud
• Experience with integration platforms such as Mulesoft, Boomi, or Informatica
• Experience with Data Integrity and Security standards are enforced

The estimated salary range for this position is $170,000 USD to $190,000 USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
