Description

We are looking for an individual that can help us continually improve and enhance our Salesforce platform, guided by the Salesforce product team. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter with the ability to propose innovative solutions based on a solid understanding of business strategy, regulatory changes, industry direction, and above all, Salesforce platform expertise key to creating an efficient, comprehensive, and visually optimized product.
Responsibilities:
The role will focus on developing new features and functionality that drive business value, continuously improving the quality of front-end code through refactoring, and providing support for solutions delivered to the business.
Focus relentlessly on developing cleaner user interfaces obvious, intuitive, and simplistic functionality.
Application development, including basic Visualforce pages/Lightning pages, Lightning Web Components.
Collaborate with internal IT teams to manage integrations between Salesforce and other systems, ensuring data integrity and seamless information flow. Integrate Salesforce with external systems, leveraging APIs to create seamless data exchanges.
Lead the evaluation and implementation of new Salesforce features, upgrades, and third-party applications to enhance the CRM system's capabilities.
Assist with each release cycle to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code.
QA/UAT testing and debugging with stakeholders.
Striving towards coding best practices and data quality.
Contributing to writing technical and functional documentation.
Supporting the Salesforce Administrator on occasion.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of Salesforce development experience.
Experience working with the Salesforce APIs and building services to connect Salesforce with other systems.
Proficiency in Salesforce configuration, customization, flows, and data management.
Experience with SOAP, REST, Webservice and SOA/Integration technologies
Experience with developing solutions for Sales, Service, Marketing, and Communities cloud platforms.
Agile software development lifecycle and QA/UAT testing experience leveraging project tracking software (Jira, ServiceNow, MS DevOps, ...).
Experience with programming languages such as SOQL, JavaScript, HTML, Apex, and CSS
Integration experience implementing and developing in Apex, Visualforce, and Javascript.
Integrations Salesforce into their ERP (IFS is what they use )

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with Apex, Visualforce, or Aura/Lightning components
Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, or Platform App Builder
Additional Salesforce certifications e.g. Certified Salesforce Administrator, Certified Javascript Developer
