Description

The Lead Salesforce Service Cloud Developer will be joining the eCommerce IT organization. This person facilitates the use of Salesforce Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud to develop a 360-degree view of the customer. The Lead Developer will oversee a small team of Salesforce Developers and QAs, primarily focusing on Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud. The Lead will be providing technical leadership, including: leading daily standups, assigning user stories, providing documentation, point of escalation, performing code reviews, coaching developers, and evolving coding standards and best practices. It also includes hands on development work as well as, collaborating with SF Architects, Product Management, Business stakeholders, and other enterprise solutions architects in ensuring quality deliverables. Overall development work is focused on implementing flows, approval processes, object customizations, app configurations, email templates, and Lightning page layouts and apps. This person will also develop custom Lightning Web Components, Apex classes, and secure system integrations following Salesforce and Petco best practices of practical solutions first. Design guidance will be provided by Salesforce architects and the Lead Developer will proactively collaborate on solutions that foster high user adoption and low maintenance. Principles of object-oriented programming and design concepts are followed when choosing existing components or developing custom solutions. This is a direct-hire role and can sit remotely in Mexico.

Required Skills & Experience

* 5+ years of experience in Salesforce Development

* 1+ years of Lead experience

* Certifications: At a very minimum, Salesforce engineers/architects should have at least two of the following Certifications: Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Marketing Cloud Consultant, Marketing Cloud Developer, Marketing Cloud Administrator, Administrator, Service Cloud Consultant, Application Architect, Technical Architect, System Architect

* Development experience using Lightning and Apex

* Expertise in Salesforce Service Cloud, AWS API gateway integration

* Experience migrating Salesforce Classic Knowledge to Lightning Knowledge

* Experience with debugging issues identified in other people's code or components

* Experience configuring Permission Sets and Sharing Rules using "least privilege" principles

* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working with Architects, other developers, QA, and business stakeholders

* Experience with Knowledge-Centered Service (KCS)

* Experience with setting up Lightning Knowledge with approval flows

* Integrating Salesforce.com with other applications and data-driven processes using RESTful APIs

* Experience developing unlocked packages using SFDX and the CLI integrator

* Production experience developing in an object-oriented language (Java, C#, C , etc.)
