Nomadix Inc. is excited to announce its search for a IT Systems & SalesForce Engineer, reporting to the Global Head of IT. Please note that this is a hybrid role requiring both IT support and SalesForce skills and experience. We have been serving the hotel technology market for over 25 years and have a global reputation for delivering powerful and personalized connectivity and digital engagement solutions designed with real people in mind. In addition to Hospitality, we also offer managed Wi-Fi services to multi-tenant/multi-dwelling properties and are moving into adjacent markets. Main purpose: Support and delivery of IT & Business Systems services for Nomadix. Working as part of the team to provide hands-on technical support to a varied community of users at all levels. Supporting all employee facing systems, employee on-/off-boarding, corporate network/VPN, telephony, and desktop / laptop clients, applications, and servers. Working with our administrator to assist, support & maintain our SalesForce platform and integrated applications and backup solution. Key responsibilities and accountabilities: Desktop, Applications, Server & Infrastructure Onboard and offboard employee accounts following applicable ISMS processes Provide support to our office staff (working remotely). Support of IT services as they move into the cloud. Client AV-malware configuration, support, and removal of infected items. Linux and Windows Server administration & maintenance. Ensure infrastructure and data integrity of the systems are always maintained through regular housekeeping. Strong user support for desktop/ laptop clients (MAC, Windows and Linux operating systems). Supporting Google Workspace & O365 applications, MDM, Confluence and Egnyte. Installation & support of key applications and analytics software (bespoke, cloud and hosted) Support for various mobile devices and applications including Apple & Android. Complete audits that support our organization's security policies / procedures SalesForce Support and Administration: All aspects of user and license management including new user setup / deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, sharing rules. SalesForce configuration changes including (not limited to) flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, dashboards and reporting. Data management - improve data quality, implement rules and automation as needed. Managing SalesForce Platform backups using OwnBackup data backup and recovery software. Experience with basic triggers, Apex code and scripting languages ie Python, Ruby Supporting native SalesForce applications ie ServiceMax / AccountingSeed etc. Identify and gather requirements from users and stakeholders. User training and creating training materials. Documentation: Provide and maintain technical documentation & guidelines to support the company's policies, procedures, infrastructure, servers, applications including problem solving tasks and techniques. Information technology Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company security processes and procedures. Ensure that external and internal IT procedures and policies are met. Coordinate and maintain CR's, patching and compliance of laptops and IT systems. Manage and protect certificates, merchant codes and other important assets. Manage privileged access to IT systems and maintain details in a password vault Manage and complete audits that support our organizations security controls General Sound knowledge of infrastructure technologies, networking, and IP Phone concepts. Ability to take on several jobs at the same time. This person is encouraged and expected to develop their skills and knowledge. Requirements Minimum of 5 years' experience in an IT technical support position. Minimum of 3 years supporting and administering SalesForce including experience with basic triggers, Apex code and scripting languages. Experience and knowledge of Apple Mac, Windows & Linux operating systems and applications. Skilled in infrastructure, server, desktop hardware & application configuration, troubleshooting.
